My fault for not looking closer at the images, but was very unhappy when the unit came with Chinese writing. As far as the unit itself, will see how it works out for me. Connections are pretty flimsy but should not pose any issue if properly installed. Movement of the spinner is smooth. Will not be able to check functions for a while, but testing the unit it seems to be registering in mean milliseconds what the wind speed would be. Flickering of the readout may cause some difficulties in reading exact speed if the wind is not consistent. Probably will have to go find an actual weather station for the purposes I was planning to use this for.
