This item works as described. At first when I used it on my Canon Rebel T7, I thought it wasn't working and I was going to have to return the item. However, I didn't realize that in order for this to work on your camera, you need to disable the wifi/nfc setting. When the Wifi/NFC is enabled on your camera, it disables the USB port. Also the length of this cable is fairly long. I think it might be about 3 ft long. It's definitely compatible with the canon rebel T7 and it's great value for the money.

Works super well, transfers my photos over effortlessly to my MacBook. Just an FYI once you plug your camera into your MacBook and you don’t see anything pop up on your screen to transfer your photos/videos open up your photos app on your Mac book and you will see on the side canon etc you click that and an option to export your photos will be on the top right corner and just like that your photos transferred

It must be me, but I couldn't the pics on camera to transfer onto my cell phone? The cord isn't at fault, I even bought two of these, but can't get it to work for me.
