Too big for DS-640 Scanner
This case is much too big for the Brother DS-640, meaning the scanner will not sit securely in the case and will get knocked about if carrying this portable scanner about.

Just buy it
I have lots of cases for various items I buy, this time I bought a portable scanner for my laptop, it wasnt cheap, so rather than just throw it into my laptop bag with many other things, I got this case that is perfect and I know it will keep it protected. I normally buy these types of cases for attaching to my laptop case, Ive the same one but smaller for a bluetooth speaker, and for the price im more than happy with them
