Quality extension lead from CTEK. What else is there to say!

This is invaluable and very useful and easy to use I use it to reach the battery on my vehicle which is set back otherwise the unit on it’s own is to short to reach my vehicle and pulling the unit from the connectors because the connect-extension lead is being pulled by the extension cable leaving it hanging.

Quality product, does the job

If you own a husqvarna ride on like me you will know getting the battery off to charge it is not a 5 minute job as it’s located behind one of the back wheels. There is what I believe now to be called a comfort connector on the mower which is compatible with ctek chargers but these charges are very expensive. When I saw this I thought I could adapt my cheap car charger and so it seems you can!!!! I cut the end off the female side of the lead and replaced with a push in line connector did the same for the crocodile clips on my charger but fitted another inline to these if I ever need to use them in the future and then fitted the other end of the online to the charger and bobs your mothers brother, my cheap aldi charger can now trickle charge my mower without the need to remove the battery, you’re welcome!

Very pleased with this. I use it for one of my vehicles which i leave in maintenance charge mode. Weather proof connection with silicone gasket seal.

Bought alongside a CTEK MXS 5.0 Battery Charger whose attached lead is rather short. (I think CTEK are being cheeky, making people buy this lead separately. The charger should have a longer lead to start with.) This item click-joins onto the charger lead, extending the distance between the charger and the vehicle by 2.5m. The extension lead terminates with another female click joint. This is where you connect the clamps which ultimately attaches to the vehicle/battery. Positives: - The extension is perfect to allow the charger to stay dry in the garage while charging the battery in the car just outside. - It also avoids the charger 'dangling in the air' when charging a taller vehicle, like a van. - The cable is sturdy but fairly thin so there's a good chance you can route it outside and still lock the vehicle with its bonnet closed properly. So this extension lead does exactly what it says on the tin. Be advised that the lead with the battery clamps, supplied with the MXS 5.0 charger, is quite short. Having attached the red clamp on the +ve battery teminal, you may struggle to reach a suitable engine part to which to attach the black clamp. The extension cable does not help you with this issue.
