Our favorite easy-to-make biscuit mix
I have been using this biscuit mix for over a year now to make what I call "from scratch" biscuits. Of all the various biscuit mixes I've tried, this gives the quickest and easiest decent results. I just pour out how much I need, then add enough buttermilk to get to the right consistency to shape into biscuits (no, I don't bother rolling out dough, etc.) I shape the biscuits by hand, drop them on a greased pan, and within minutes we have delicious biscuits. These biscuits are so much better than what you can make with Bisquick or similiar biscuit mixes you find in grocery stores.
