This is not a silicone grease, it is a sanitary lube, it will not dry or gum on equipment, is highly resistant to separation or bleed and is a time saver because it cleans off of equipment easily. This lubricant will provide a protective coating to all metal parts. A thin film will retain effectiveness on bearings, slides, and other lubricated surfaces despite moisture.
