Super economical peppercorns that taste and smell great! We go through a lot of fresh ground pepper, from steaks to briskets, any kind of meat, soups, etc., once you get used to fresh cracked pepper, it's so hard to go back.I use a coffee mill to grind my peppercorns, works much faster than the small pepper mills, and I grind at least a few ounces per week.I've tried plenty of different brands of peppercorns. For the most part, there's not a TON of difference, as long as they're not too dry. You'll know when you have very old corns, they are super dry and don't have a good smell.This is my second order of this particular brand and it's spot on, smells great.

Easy, not too sweet, not too smokey, low or no heat... perfect for most tastes and a "safe" option for a group where someone might be sensitive to peppery heat. You can always add sweet BBQ sauce, spice-heat, or liquid smoke to taste, separately.For 8 adults, we do two packets for 6-7 lbs of fat-trimmed pork shoulder, roughly cut into 2-3-inch chunks, with the other ingredients (scale back the ketchup a little) on the packet, for 50+ minutes in an instant pot. An hour works, but the result will be more traditionally shredded than pulled. Fill with water, broth, and/or mix in beer to barely cover the meat. Be careful not to fill over the safety line in the pot, they say, because this will fill an 8-quart pot to its max. No need to let it marinate beforehand.The remaining liquid is tasty, but you can separate the fat out because there's a LOT, and reduce it for BBQ sauce. Best with slider buns (2 dozen for 8 people) topped with sweet coleslaw. Char some corn on the side, and a cobbler for dessert... enough for 8 adults, and nobody will walk away hungry. Leftovers might make 2-3 sliders the next day.

Wow! What a great value. This also has a great taste. Yes this is a large container, but mine has kept its flavor. I can a lot of spaghetti sauce in the summer time, and this has saved me so much money for that. I had been buying the smaller jars, that was off course until I found this. Like I said earlier it has great flavor. In fact the flavor is better than any of the other brands I’ve tried. I’m really glad that I found this
