Perfect replacement for a 10 year old alarm
I had two smoke alarms that had reached their 10 year lifespan and needed replacing. I can’t believe how easy they were to replace with this model! Literally took one minute, clicked into place, couldn’t ask for more.

Replacement for old Firex KF120 (made in early 2000)
Perfect replacement for old Firex KF120. Same cable connection, same fitting plate. Just unplug old device and mount this new smoke alarms. P

Straightforward and safe
The fitting was fairly straightforward, I did both in less than an hour including removal of the old 2 alarms. Appear reasonably sturdy and should last me for the next ten years. We will have to see how long the backup batteries last, Duracell supplied with the alarms.

Perfect replacement for older alarm
I was a bit concerned about "faulty" being written on one of the boxes.However, all the parts were in the box and connected easily to existing wiring.Tested interlink with no issues and look forward to years of protection.For new installation you will need a qualified electrician.
