I take this every morning and it keeps me awake throughout the day. I can tell the difference when I don't use it because I go into a deep sleep into the next day, even if it's the early afternoon. It tastes like juice and not at all hard to consume. Speaking of juice, I take it with orange juice now and it gives me an extra boost, though there is no problem with absorption. The quality is good because it does exactly what it should for the price. The bottle is perfect for storing in the fridge and the measuring cap is very practical. My hair and skin has changed for the better. It's a slight difference, but enough to where I can notice. I buy multiple bottles at a time because this has improved the quality of my life/health and I hate going a day without it. I had so many side effects from the pill so buy this (and consult with a doctor) if you can't stand the iron pill.

My experience is based on many years of taking iron pills (in many different forms), which caused significant discomfort - but I kept taking them. Over roughly 12 years of very low ferritin, substantial hair loss (I am surprised I still have hair left on my head), cold hands and feet, and other symptoms, I eventually decided to try liquid iron, even though I had very little hope it would help. The next step for me would have been iron infusions. Throughout all those years on pills, stomach discomfort was the biggest issue: they consistently caused constipation and my levels never improved. After going through two bottles of this liquid iron, which I started in November 2025, the difference is remarkable. I’ve had no stomach issues and no side effects at all. I love the taste, and I take it first thing in the morning - sometimes only every other day. My hair loss has slowed significantly. I can’t really comment on changes in energy, because over the years my body seemed to compensate and I generally felt energetic. Here are my blood work results to show my journey. For reference, the ferritin range from Quest lab work is 16–232 ng/mL. • 2019-03-30 – ferritin: 24 (on pills) • 2022-03-10 – ferritin: 20 (on pills) • 2023-11-23 – ferritin: 18 (on pills) • 2024-11-12 – ferritin: 17 (on pills) • 2025-07-06 – ferritin: 17 (still on pills) • 2025-10-02 – ferritin: 20 (yes, still on pills) • 2026-01-31 – ferritin: 55 (using this product. I even repeated the bloodwork because I didn’t believe it at first; it was confirmed.) So if you’re struggling with low iron/ferritin, you need to try this product. It truly works, as my bloodwork clearly shows. 10 stars!

A lot of reviews were complaining about the taste of this. This tastes fine, barely metallic at all, I was expecting it to be gross. I haven't gotten the.... side effects... of taking normal iron pills on this. It's a little pricey, but worth trying if you have constipation issues on slow FE.

The taste isn't bad and helped both me and my sons iron levels with no side effects. We felt better while taking it and always recommend to friends.

If you’re Anemic,this is the best iron supplement on the market. It was recommended to me by my doctor, a little expensive but worth every penny when you’ve suffered all your life from “low blood”, which I have. I also have stomach problems and not able to tolerate iron supplements because of belching them back up. This being liquid and mixed with fruit juice’s I ha tolerated it very well and feel the results in about two weeks. I highly recommend it, but please don’t take any iron supplements unless you’re doctor says you’re blood is low, it can be dangerous!!!

I am enjoying the product - it is easy to drink and does not cause me any constipation or anything. I don't know if it is doing me any good as I was not feeling any negative effects from being slightly anemic during my pregnancy. I am going to keep taking it as I am guessing it is helping. I would have rated this product with 5 stars but I removed a star due to the products awful container lid!!! Now let's talk about the bottle. I read in the reviews about the problem with the bottle lid but oh my goodness I can't believe how bad it is!! It is simply impossible to do up the cap with the red safety thing on there.... so per someones advice I removed it, thinking this would fix the problem. The cap doesn't actually do up!!! It tightens a little and then as you continue to tighten it, it pops and becomes loose again. There is no way this is even keeping the liquid airtight which is what worries me a little. I just can't believe that they would have such nice glass bottles and then make such a mistake with the lids. My friend tried to tighten the lid with a tool but he told me the metal is so soft it just opens back up again. There is no way to make this lid seal which makes it a nightmare to shake. Of course if I hold the cap on tightly it is possible.... I am going to buy more of this product as I like it for what it is, I can only PRAY that they get this problem sorted as soon as possible!! I wonder how long they have had this problem!?!? Updated 10/16/12 - OMG - I ordered this product from the UK (labeled as the 500ml bottle rather than the 8.5oz bottle) and not only was it CHEAPER but it has a real lid that works and it doesn't have the stupid red safety lid AND it also has a normal size measuring lid!! WOW!! I am now happy!

I've had iron deficiency anemia for as long as I can remember. It's not bad to the point of needing a transfusion, but since I've never been very consistent about taking iron supplements, it persisted. Mostly because of pill burden (I take other supplements as well) and just being tired of taking them. I was looking for a liquid iron to make it easier and Floradix had positive reviews, so I decided to try it. I don't know that I will ever use another iron product unless somehow I'm forced to. The change in one month has been incredible. I have so much more energy than I did previously. My eyebrows were sparse and my hair around the temples and front edges were thinning. If I'm being honest, my hair overall looked lifeless and dry. A month later, there's been a marked improvement. The dark circles around my eyes have dramatically diminished and my skin looks more clear and smooth. My nails grow incredibly quickly, even though I typically cut them down to wear them short. The taste of Floradix is a bit metallic and earthy but I got used to it pretty quickly and it's not a problem. I haven't had any stomach upset or other issues. A quick shot in the morning and evening and I'm done. I genuinely love this stuff and I'm really looking forward to seeing how the results keep up over the next few months. I even bought the tablet version as well so I can take those when I travel. Because of the quick and very noticeable results, I don't want to be without this. Would highly recommend.

I was 1 “point” away from needing a transfusion. I would nearly faint every time I stood, had extremely low energy and a plethora of awful health issues. After taking this for a month my ferritin levels shot up drastically. Fast forward a months later and my hair is fuller, thicker, bald spots have wonderfully improved new growth, I have better energy. I have not taken it every day as of recent and begin to get anemia symptoms, I will then notice, start taking this again and within 2 days I really do notice I feel better. Very happy with this product and will keep continuing to buy it with my iron deficiency condition. I have purchased 3 or 4 bottles so far. Iron tablets from my doctors office I had been taking for years did not help at all, and just one month on floradix changed my health for the better. Love this product!
