Looking at its thickness and weight, my mom first thought it would take forever to cook - but surprisingly, it heats up fast and cooks evenly. The paniyarams come out perfectly crisp and soft inside. The glass lid is a nice touch and helps in cooking faster. It’s a bit heavy, but that’s expected with good cast iron. Really happy with the quality and performance. Just need to oil and dry it properly after use to keep it in good condition. Great buy for anyone who loves traditional cookware!

Even after seasoning…appe are sticking to the utensil…no use at all …can’t return the item as the seller is forcing to have the tag intact. How to cook with the tag intact.. Highly disappointed with Indus Valley.

I’m very impressed with this appam maker. It is genuinely made of cast iron—heavy, solid, and clearly high quality. I tried making appams on the first day itself and they turned out perfect with even cooking and great taste. After light seasoning, the batter didn’t stick at all, which was a pleasant surprise. The build feels durable and traditional, exactly what I was looking for. Highly recommended for anyone who wants authentic, healthy cast-iron cooking.

The product is good but they have delivered broken handle , hence ordering replacement

Excellent product. Naturally non sticky. Easy to clean. And most importantly toxin free. Makes perfect appam without burning them. Really easy to use and does not require excess oil. Thickness is also really good makjng it durable.

It's too heavy in wait. Product quality is very good. Cooking ability is also good.

Cast iron is of good quality ,heavy but healthy

The advertisement says it is cast iron. It came small than is shown on the picture. We washed it ready for use and the next day it was already rusted. It must be a very cheap cast iron if at all it is. I am very disappointed with this product
