Traveller's notebook camel [15193006]

So happy to get the camel version ...and so far the best price I've seen as they've just come back into stock. I bought the brown version a month ago. I have always had filofax planners in the past but they didn't quite work for journal as wasted space and rings in the way. And unlike the ring planners, this leather feels like it will last a lifetime it's so thick. If you love writing, drawing journaling you will love this as you get so much more space, yet still quite compact. I love this so much I've bought a second for hubby's anniversary present. I'm going to use the camel as a sketchbook and art journal. But if you just have the one it is easy to swap booklets out as you go from daily planner to holiday companion. Just check out YouTube....loads of inspiration there as well as making your own notebooks to save a bit. Please note the company separated from Midori....you may still find older stock with the midori stamp on the (black and brown)....but gradually they will all have travelers notebook stamped on the back and inserts. I have both...and the leather is just as good....but being leather each piece differs slightly. It will wear depending on how you keep it and handle it.

I have so far purchased 4 of these over the last year to give as presents. The notebook is made a soft high quality leather and presented perfectly in a cotton bag. These notebooks only get better with time with every scuff and blemish adding a personalised patina. They are perfect for use as a notebook, artist sketch pad or diary. The notebook comes with one Midori insert but various others can be bought seperately. These include everything from a weekly/ daily diary to a high quaily sketch pad. They are a tad expensive but well worth the investment. Overall I really believe this product deserves the 5 star review I have given it.

Absolutely love this (Midori as was) Traveler's Journal. I looked at them for well over two years, not able to justify the cost, and then Amazon highlighted one in the Amazon store. It was a returned item, and the quality was advised as 'Brand New'. Amazon advised that it might be without its original wrapping, but the saving was definitely worth it. Even better was that if I found it wasn't as it should be, then I could still return it. Eagerly awaited, when it arrived, not only was it in its original packaging (bag etc.) it was unopened. It really was brand new. I was, and still am, so pleased with this. Over time the leather (and it is nice leather) will gain its own unique patina, so I am not frightened of actually USING this and taking it out into the field so to speak. The original Midori TJ's were made in Japan, and although the company changed this part of its business to Traveler's Company, the notebook covers are now made in Thailand. I am thrilled with it, and whilst there are cheaper leather covers on the market, I haven't found one that's as well finished. Others are made of pleather or polyurethane "leather". Highly recommended for those who like to journal, or sketch, or write....or anything else for that matter.

Nicely made, is what it is and probably a little pricey!

LOVE the midori and would give it 5 star...if they had actually sent me the right one. instead i have recieved a passport one (i double checked it wasnt my error but no i clearly purchased this regular size) and now i have to some how get to a post office to return it and get my money back. i ended up getting a real regular sized one from thejournalshop and i noticed that the mini one amazon sent me is REALLY dark, like almost a brown midori instead of a camel one. checked it out online and apparently there is an issue with some of the camel's colour. if youre not happy guys RETURN it.it's such an expensive item to get for it not to be perfect. other than that midori notebooks are awesome and will literally become your best friend

Unfortunately, the notebook arrived with a large stain on the back, multiple signs for the rubber band, and light scratches. To me, this looks like the fault of the store, which might resell damaged or used products as new. Otherwise, the cover is soft, a really nice color, and elegant in design. The knot for the elastic band on the back seems to make it a bit harder to write on the last pages, but otherwise, there seem to be design problems.
