Is this book technical? Yes, it's supposed to be. Does it have every exercise I've ever learned in Pilates? No, it's their Manual, it doesn't have to. Can it be repetitive? Yes, I want to know the beginning-advanced variations of exercises. This manual is not for the inexperienced or new practitioner, it's a teaching manual. I've been working with my private trainer four days a week for a year and a half, so when I moved, I needed something to refer to when I needed a refresher regarding the proper way to perform movements, for me this book is absolutely perfect. For an instructor or an advanced practitioner, it's perfect.

This manual is easy to understand and gives detailed use description as well as clear pictures. It is for use with Stott reformers as it gives setting suggestions that go with their equipment.

I just got it today. I wanted to know more when I'm doing Pilates work at home, and this book is wonderful. It has all the exercises I'm familiar with in an Intermediate class, and shows me how to modify it to Advanced if I can get to that level! It has an example session also to give ideas on how to put them all together. Highly recommend the investment.

I'm so pleased with the book and already bringing it to class to work on certain exercises! I plan to take advanced teaching soon. Great book for instructors!
