Dude, even if you weighed 531 lbs and did that - I don't think you're hurting a Boss. Maybe don't land on the knobs in that case though eh?

Not really that hard. Just search here for guitar pedal power supplies. 9V 2.1x5.5mm, center negative. Or buy a bunch of 9v batteries

You'll just need one guitar cable from your guitar to the pedal, and a second guitar cable from the pedal to your amp. The pedal runs on a 9v battery, which is included.

Q: Where is this pedal made?

Taiwan. It hasn't affected the quality of the pedal, or of the sound in any way. Still the best $50 distortion pedal.
