NOW Foods Supplements, Sunflower Lecithin 1200 mg with Phosphatidyl Choline, 100 Softgels

I am a breastfeeding mom to a 3mo baby and have found these to work great in preventing and clearing clogged milk ducts. I take 2 pills per day for prevention and definitely have seen a huge decrease in the frequency of clogged milk ducts. I’ve only gotten 1 or 2 clogs since I started taking these regularly, and when I did I took 4 pills per day along with ibuprofen and it worked quickly and effectively to clear the clog. I definitely recommend these to all lactating people who have suffered from clogged milk ducts.

I like NOW brand supplements, they're always affordable and good quality. I like that it's made with sunflower and olive oil versus soy, which is hard to find. The choline amount in lecithin isn't as high as I assumed, once you look it up, but for the average person this is a good solution. Many brands cost much more.

Great product the gel capsule were not damaged nor stuck together which is great and no oft putting smell from the bottle. They are large but super easy to swallow. Love the brand and the price for 200.

First-time mom, for the first 4 months of my baby's life, my breasts were SO tender from breastfeeding. I would develop blocked milk ducts for seemingly no reason - I tried everything from massaging my breasts while pumping, massaging while taking hot showers, wearing loose clothing, sleeping solely on my back, you name it. It got to the point where I'd be in so much discomfort or pain that I would avoid holding my baby (as she'd often inadvertently hurt me) and I'd just hole up in my house. I finally looked into home remedies and found out that massaging and using heat is outdated advice and that I should be minimally massaging and using ICE rather than heat. I also saw that taking Sunflower Lecithin could help, so I immediately ordered a bottle. After taking it daily for a week, I was no longer getting blocked ducts, and I haven't had any since (it's been a month now). I can finally just live my life rather than living in fear that I'll be uncomfortable. Excellent addition to my supplements. The capsules are a bit on the large side butMy cholesterol levels went down significantly in only 8 weeks, taking it only once a day.I did feel a minor upset stomach for the first two days but that’s usually the case for me when I try someone new. Now I take it and I feel fine and waiting to see if I see any benefits with my skin and hair.

I really like the Sunflower lecithin because it doesn't have soy in it.
