It's about time!! works wonderfully, just go nice n easy, let the blades do their job, patience.. Everywhere else is smooth, it was alway's my back I couldn't do anything about it... until now. Dude this is genuinely the coolest shaver I've ever owned. I was pretty skeptical because I've owned so many different shavers and they all suck. But this one was so easy and painless and I feel so smooth. I never knew shavers could be good like this. Wtf, I'm genuinely in shock.

I used the original BAKblade for about a year and found it pretty useful. I don't have a super hairy back, but it's patchy and difficult to shave. Instead of buying more blades for the original, I decided to buy the 2.0 elite. These are my thoughts: Pros: - It seems much higher quality and looks better hung up (the old one was a blue plastic stick) - It takes up less space - It's shaped better for shaving - The replacement blades appear to be cheaper Cons: - The blades are much more narrow, so it takes longer and is harder to make sure you got everything. - I didn't understand it in the description, but when it says it includes three blades, it's designed for you to use three blades AT THE SAME TIME, like one of those multi-blade razors. I didn't really notice a lot of difference doing this, but it seems like it would work to simply remove two of the blades. - I had more razor bumps after using this than I ever got with the original, but that may just be because I wasn't used to the triple blade design yet. Both shavers have the same problem that non-electric back shavers have always had for me: it's not skin-smooth, so you have little tiny hairs that end up catching uncomfortably at your shirt for about a day. It also suggests that you can detach the blades and use them as a hand-held body shaver, but I wouldn't recommend this. For the chest, a good quality safety razor is still my go-to. But, it's definitely more affordable, effective, and easier to use than electrics. I think both BAKblades are good enough to recommend.

I don’t usually leave reviews, I spent thousands on Amazon on products to run a clinic. The Bakbkade works, I no longer have to be embarrassed to take my shirt off. Yes, I cut myself a little using it, but it worth it. I have a clean back. The carpet is gone.

Oh man I wish I took before pics because I am a VERY hairy mf...This is a fantastic product! For reference, 35 y/o man who for the first time in his life, decided was tired of being a wookie. I didn't need to trim beforehand, this worked perfectly at removing life-long hairs. I love that I can do this by myself, as I single man that's pretty essential. It reaches everywhere on the back, just have to double-check in the mirror...which on that subject, yes it actually does work well wet or dry! 10/10 and bought the refill pack for razors

This greatly exceeded my expectations. This product really works! I’ve used similar products in the past but this is the best purchase I e made in a while. No hair, no cuts (except opening the damn box but I’ll take the hit for that). If you’re dealing with back hair and hate to have someone do it for you….this is it. It hits all the angles and tough spots. 5/5

I bought the original BakBlade roughly 6 years ago and have been very happy with the way it shaves my back hair. I did not consider upgrading to this new 2.0 version because the original was doing so well, although after reading so many reviews of how good this new version was, I finally decided to order one. And WOW and I so glad I did. This new version provides an EVEN SMOOTHER shave to my back, and with the three blades, works much quicker and more efficiently as well. I bought the Elite version, so I have the brush on the back, which is nice, but not a must have (I think you could go for the regular 2.0 if you don't want to spend extra). The fact that this version folds up is very nice as well; I just traveled with it and it folded up and fit perfectly into my Dopp Kit/Toiletry Bag which was SUPER convenient (I used to have to put the original BakBlade straight into a suitcase where it got damaged/was exposed or have the handle sticking out of a bag). The blades are sharp, and you can def cut yourself using them if you're not careful, but this was no different than the original. Overall this version is more forgiving in terms of how you use it and the smoothness of the cut (the original, you really had to hit the right angles, etc. but this version can cut smooth without necessitating as much skill while using - although it's not that hard to learn). Also happy that this came with 3 extra blades so I don't have to worry about if one breaks (although I'd be very disappointed if one did, none of my original blades did, but also 3 extra blades to extend use until needing to buy more). All in all, I'm DEF glad I upgraded to the new version and will be recommending it to all my friends who use the original. I don't think you must upgrade, but if you can afford it, I think upgrading is a good choice and I would do it again in a heartbeat!

I've only used the Bakblade 2.0 Elite once so far and I was a bit 'overgrown' so it had its work cut. It was reasonably quick and only my bulk and dexterity made reaching the hard reach bits a little tricky. I was all done in 10 mins and would expect that time to drop when attacking less growth and working out out a more efficient cut pattern. Definitely worth the money.
