Nemesis Now Edgar's Raven Skull Figurine 25cm Ivory

I've loved skulls since I was a kid and as I already have quite a few replica human skulls, but this is a little different. Even though I'd checked the dimensions with a tape measure, its appears even more impressive. The details in the cast are really sharp, with the extra decoration adding to the realism. It has a nice weight, adding to the quality feel. The snippets from the poem makes me feel it really should be displayed in an old glass dome! It's a bit larger than life size (around 1.5x real life, if my quick calculation is correct.) But it's not so large as to be ridiculous, you could imagine an oversized Raven tap, tap tapping at the window...

Bought this as a mother's day present and she loves it, as do I. This thing is absolutely stunning, painted intricately without any splotches or hairlines at all. It's much heavier than you think, which is nice and reassuring (it won't break, believe me) and also bigger than expected, which are both bonuses. It looks morbid and stunning in equal measure, and makes a strong present for those into Poe, poetry, the Gothic, or darker things in general. An incredible centrepiece on any bookcase, for a brilliant price. This is one of those few items these days that's almost too cheap for how nicely crafted it is.

I'm a big fan of all things horror, love Poe and also collect skulls so this was a perfect buy for me to add to my collection. Good size and weight, nice finish and excellent price. A visitor even asked me if it was real raven skull. I'm glad it's not, I wouldn't want to see a bird that size flapping around!!!

My girlfriend bought this for me a while back as a gift, knowing my love of Edgar. I love it, it still sits on my desk everyday. Great attention to detail, high quality for the cost and a good weight to it too. Highly recommend, especially as a gift idea.
