Simple Mills Vanilla Cake Mix, 11.5 Ounce

Delicious! I made it for a church potluck. And it was a hit! Made with cream cheese frosting on vanilla cupcakes. But someone said it reminded them of carrot cake. There was 25 between the chocolate and this almond flour baking mix. There was nothing left! All were eaten and brought home with them. The texture is moist soft, flavorful and a bit heavy, but still puffed up like a cupcake should. The price is high but it’s worth it. Just follow the directions you will love it!

Love this baking mix! I add spiced sauteed apples to the center before baking! Very nice product for GF people.

We like the taste, texture, and that it's barely sweet, but if you're used to baking mixes, usually you may only have eggs and oil/butter on hand. This "vanilla" cake mix requires you to also have vanilla on hand, which we don't. It still tasted good to us without it, but keep that in mind,.

I am vegan and also have to maintain a primarily gluten free diet. I checked the company web site about how to make this mix vegan. I used the club soda method. It tastes okay, but the texture is odd. It also makes the tiniest amount of cake, making the price just WAY too high. I usually make everything from scratch, but I was going to be in a time crunch, so I ordered this. Based on the price and results, I don't think that I'll order it again.
