Citadel Pot de Peinture - Base Abaddon Black

Good paint for models, or in my experience, for re-painting Nerf blasters. Expensive, but worth it. Dries fast and lasts longer than most other paint brands while retaining it's black color. After having been clear-coated, it should last a very long time. I use Rust-oleum x2 gloss or flat clear-coat. The Abaddon Black comes off your hands/body easily with soap and water. I use the small Citidel brush I got in the base paint kit a while back, but I notice I use the color black a lot. I will probably purchase this again in the future.

This is an excellent Citadel paint that I was highly satisfied with, and I even managed to use the entire pot before the tiny remaining layer at the bottom dried out :) It is a matte black that is perfect for clothing, Imperial Guard combat boots, etc. that provides excellent surface coverage and a smooth finish once dry. It remains my favorite black paint to use with my models.

Very good paint, works very well. If you've recently developed an interest in tabletop wargaming miniatures such as Warhammer 40k, Warmachine, Hordes, etc. I strongly recommend you look online for much more in-depth reviews of various lines of paint than I would ever be able to write here. That said, if you need a black paint for a mini, this will certainly do the trick.

This black is perfect for using on Star Wars Armada Imperial squadrons and ships, such as the black on the TIE series fighters, bombers, etc.

Citadel makes quality paints for figures. I use them for custom action figures and it goes on very smooth. I am definitely impressed with their line of paints so I highly recommend them for anyone that is in the market for this type of paint!
