WMF Professional Plus Vegetable Peeler, Stainless Steel, 19cm

I bought two because they’re not always easy to find and sadly they’re not the quality they used to be, but they’re easily the best ever potato peelers for ease of peeling and comfort of use. I used to get about 10 years out of them, now I’m lucky to get a year. I live in Ireland so potatoes are a big thing!

I have had a number of vegetable peelers over the years, but must confess that this one is the best so far. A little more expensive, but the quality is very good. The weight is just perfect for peeling and it is nice and sharp enough for the job in hand, but not so sharp that you can cut yourself. I am going to buy a second one, if one is in the dishwasher I always have a spare one.

I wanted a nice looking stainless steel vegetable peeler for my salsify and potatoes. This one is well made, as I had hoped given the brand name, and it feels good in the hand. It works well. I have only given 4 stars as I have not had it long, and 5 stars require it lasts and works for a good few years.

The stainless steel and brand name attracted me to it but after months of trying to peel all different sorts of vegetables and some fruit this peeler has landed in the bin. The blade is static and ultimately not sharp enough, which became glaringly obvious after comparing it to my new peeler. The way you have to hold this one was uncomfortable for my hand (and I wasn't the only one using it). Save your money. It looks nice but that's all there is it. For those of you wondering, I went with the Kuhn Rikon Piranha Swivel Peeler which I highly recommend.

Very good quality, but the slit/blade is far away from the handle. Therefore it is uncomfortable to grip when you want to put pressure on the peeler. My fingers end up on the blade instead of staying on the handle if I want to have more control over what I peel ( otherwise it's like trying to write whilst gripping the pencil from the top end rather than closer to the lead).

I've had so many potato peelers over the years but this is the best!!! Unfortunately after 10 years use the previous one broke so I was sooooo happy to find WMF still made the same model !

The knife feels easy to use and peels vegetables very well. However, the build of the knife is bad bought it twice and broke both times.

Wir haben immer die günstigen aus dem Supermarkt geholt und waren nie wirklich zufrieden. Seit unser kleiner Mann isst und wir ständig Obst und Gemüse schälen müssen, haben wir uns noch mehr über die Schäler geärgert. Also haben wir diesen bestellt und sind hellauf begeistert! Die Klinge ist richtig scharf und das Gemüse ist in null Komma Nix geschält. Der Schäler ist sehr hochwertig verarbeitet und liegt gut in der Hand.

Avevo paura di non trovarmi bene... E invece! È perfetto, lo uso esclusivamente per pelare i limoni e lo fa benissimo. Le lame sono molto affilate e infatti dopo l'uso lo copro con il suo cappuccetto. Ha la punta affilata utilissima per aprire la buccia di arance e mandarini, o per togliere l'occhio dalle patate e credo anche cone scavi o leva torsoli. In più è bello e solido. Il prezzo lo si paga per un oggetto funzionale e di valore. Tra i vari modelli della WMF per le mie esigenze questo è il migliore.

Ürünü markasına güvenerek satın almıştım. İkinci kullanışımda orta yerinden kırıldı elimde kaldı. Çelik olarak satılan bir ürün nasıl ikiye kırılabilir anlaşılabilir gibi değil. Alacaklara uyarım olsun marka adına falan güvenip almayın elinizde kalır.
