I have thick, coarse hair that's about shoulder length. I stopped washing my hair daily in the last year or two and now I wash it 2-3 times a week. Since doing this, I have found that it takes 3 applications of shampoo to clean it well. A lot of that depends on how it's feeling such as is it lathering up? or does it feel like it's not doing anything yet. I was surprised to find that this only took 2 applications. It lathered up on the first time. It's a moderate amount of lather, but that's preferred by me because it's easier to rinse. It has an earthy/herbal smell to it. I didn't really like it, but it's not a deal breaker for me. I followed this with conditioner. I have been very pleased with the results. My hair has been very soft and shiny.

This is one of the best shampoos I have ever used. I have long normal to fine hair with hard water. This clarifying shampoo has done such a fantastic job with my hair since I have started to use it. My scalp feels clean and this shampoo did a fantastic job taking care of any build up. My hair is shiny and has more volume since I started using this and looks and feels much lighter. As far as the shampoo itself, it has a very pleasant scent which feels a tad bit herbal. The shampoo is a thin cream like texture and you don’t need a lot to get a decent lather. The shampoo is pretty pricey for the amount you receive as the bottle is pretty tiny. Overall, I think the shampoo is worth it because it really has produced some fantastic results in just a few washes and my hair looks and feels healthier.

$48 for a bottle of shampoo is a lot! I typically buy drugstore friends or I will buy brand name brands when they are on sale. I really do like the shampoo, I'm not sure it'll be worth that amount of money but it did a great job cleaning my hair. My hair stay clean for longer than normal. It also did not strip it to feel too dry, I still feel nice and moisturized after I used conditioner. I liked the smell I wasn't too strong. Also I appreciate a shampoo with a good lather.

I love this shampoo! It smells so good. We are on well water and sometimes when I wash my hair and blow dry it, it can already feel greasy. Between that and the fact that I do use product in my hair, I constantly have to use a clarifying shampoo. This shampoo made my hair feel clean for 3 days (which may not seem like a lot of some people but for my hair, that’s great results). My scalp didn’t feel itchy at all and my hair was super smooth from being so clean. I am very pleased with the results from it. I also color my hair and don’t feel like this shampoo has stripped my color or made it fade faster.

I don't have dandruff issues but usually only get to wash my hair once or twice a week. I get pimples sometimes along my hair line from the oils. And I get a buildup on my scalp... Not sure of what. But it gets itchy after a few days and I have dead skin or whatever in my nails after scratching. I also have patches of I don't know what because I can't see but I imagine dry skin? Whatever is going on, I've used this shampoo a few times now and I definitely scratch off less residue or whatever. Also finding less pimples. Not sure if I need it or just need to wash my hair more, for the price not sure if I can't keep it up. Maybe just use it every few washes. I also don't care for the scent at first, it's a strong t-tree kind of smell, like other dandruff shampoos I suppose. Once it softens tho, it does last in your hair even after a few days which is nice - still smells clean.
