Excellent Value
Great value for money, offers more punch than my previous pebble v3 and thankfully offers separate power and dataVery clear audio, decent amount of base, not muddy. Can get very loud without distorting and look very sleek, very pleased overall

Better than expected!
Having just moved my gaming consoles from the Living Room into a dedicated 'Man Cave' onto a new Monitor, I needed some speakers for gaming. From experience I know that 'PC Speakers' can sound awful. However, these are perfect for there intended use, gaming! They sound far better than I was expecting. If you're an 'Audiophile' that wants 'High End' audio then these won't be for you, but if you are an Audiophile then I guess you wouldn't be looking at these anyway. For context, I'm a Music Producer that works in a studio on high end studio monitors (speakers) so I am quite fussy when it comes to audio. Very happy with these & would recommend for Gaming, Video Editing, General PC use etc. Worth every penny.

Decent option if you're on a budget and looking for an upgrade on built in speakers
These speakers are quite attractive on a desk, with their rounded corners and matt white slightly textured vinyl surface, they appear to be modelled on the popular but more significantly more expensive Kanto YU2 or AudioEngine A2+ speakers. The build quality is good for this price but not outstanding, and I found it annoying that the manufacturer needed to put the slightly ugly Sanyun badge on the front as it dates them and detracts from the otherwise minimalist appearance. There are treble and bass controls on the side but I didn't notice much difference between the highest and lowest settings. The volume control is smooth. It's great that you get bluetooth connectivity at this price as well as USB and 3.5mm connections. However, on bluetooth I noticed occasional little popping noises when the speaker was not playing anything, not sure what causes those. It's not a big deal really but it was noticeable. As for the sound quality, it was a definite upgrade versus the built in speakers on my macbook pro 2020. It was quite pleasant to listen to at low and higher volumes and you certainly get the stereo effect, although they do not have a strong bass, which is common for all of these kind of speakers. That might be a blessing if you have neighbours to consider but not so good if you want super-immersive gaming or to host a rave in your bedroom. The case looks like it has a little tweeter but that isn't real, just for decoration, you just have the 3 inch drivers at the bottom.I wasn't fully satisfied with the sound and remortgaged my house to order the more premium AudioEngine A2+s to compare, after reading a lot of reviews. Though not expecting a big difference (I'm no audiophile and thought it might just be paying extra for a brand) it was night and day when comparing them - the Sanyuns sound suddenly seemed flat and somewhat muffled, lacking in depth of sound and punch across the spectrum from low to high frequencies. If you are someone who wants that premium sound you will likely be disappointed with the Sanyuns, but think they're an decent option if you're looking for something on a budget to upgrade your setup versus built in speakers.

Decent speakers but...
These speakers are small compact and have a decent level of sound, my only gripe with them is whenever I turn them on the start up ping is so loud it makes it difficult to turn them on at night without disturbing the rest of the sleeping family 😂

great desktop speakers
Glad I purchased when I did.Connected straight to PC via USB-C.Work well.Loud enough to fill a good sized room but don't expect to play gigs with them.Sound quality is good, thought not perfect. They're clear enough for my needs and I can hear the whole range - i can hear each instrument well, each individual percussion sound. If you're an audiophile you will find fault (you always do hahahah). If you want as close to perfect as possible, go and shell out £1,000's on a different system. For home use though these are planty good enough. They seem solid and well made (although internal wiring is always a main indicator of quality, I won't be opening them up).Lot's of features - USB connectivity, bluetooth, optical port, headphone port, can switch modes for Hi-Fi or monitor setup which means they should run connected to stereo or TV as well (I haven't tried them that way yet).Aesthetically pleasing to look at as well. Can take 6.35mm (1/4") jack to connect to a system as well by the looks of it.Overall, for the money, they're impressive and look great.Great job SanYun!
