I wanted to place peel and stick tile down over my other tile as a temporary bandaid in our kids' bathroom before we gut the whole room. I read a blog that used this adhesive to help ensure that it stayed down to tile and decided to give it a try.I used 3/4 of the tube for this project and it worked so well! It's been a little over a month with heavy use and cleaning by 3 kids and not a single tile has started to peel up. It was easy to work with and have no complaints!

This construction adhesive is advertised to bond in 30 seconds on any clean and dry surface. Unfortunately, I didn't find this to be the case. Even the glob surface remained wet for hours after being exposed to air at the right temperature and humidity; I didn't expect it to cure all the way through in that timeframe but at least the surface could form a skin... It is supposed to set up within 24 hours as well, but that also was not the case during my use. I even tried heating it up a bit with both a normal hair dryer and a heat gun...neither helped the curing. It does eventually though dry and once dry it is well bonded.On the positive side of things, it comes out of the tube the consistency of a nice toothpaste and so is easy to control its application. It doesn't cling to everything or create strings when you accidentally brush up against it, so very little mess. It is even and smooth from the tube from start to finish, so nice and clear throughout. It also conforms nicely to any uneven surfaces.If your project can take the slow cure time, it will eventually cure, and does a nice job of holding strong, so definitely a good value for the money. It is just not as spectacular as it claims to be.
