Great for scribing microscope slide covers for model building windows
This is an off-label type use: I use these to scribe very thin microscope slide covers to make windows for HO scale model railroad structures. These work great. Some folks say you need a diamond tipped scribe to cut the slide covers for model building, but . . . these seem to work great for me. I've never used a diamond tipped one (which are more expensive), but I don't feel the need to, because these work great.

Arrived as pictured. It has nice feel in hand and is sharp. Only complaint was out of 2 pen, one of the collect is loose even after tighten it with a plier. I had to wrap a piece of paper towels around the collect for it to tighten to the point that the tip wasn’t slipping. For the price, good deal.
