Excellent quality
The moment I opened the box the quality of this stove was overwhelming. The finish is a fantastic matt steel, I don't know if it is powder coated but it feels that good, looks beautiful. As soon as I started assembling it, which is easy and takes 3 minutes, the build quality was obvious as every moving part neatly fitted into place. Ingenious design: light, easy to carry, chimney is just over 6 foot tall from the ground which keeps the smoke out of your eyes and lungs, and yet it is very stable. Easy to light, easy to feed and control the burn using the door and chimney baffle. I bought mine mostly as a fun patio heater and it works for this even though it wasn't designed for this purpose. With the lid off and door open you see enough of the fire to make watching it hypnotic, and it puts out enough heat to warm your hands, although not a whole patio, unsurprisingly. All in all I love it, it was well worth the money, and it would clearly be excellent for use in a tent or shed or anywhere else you wanted some heat and to boil a kettle. I recommend it 100%.

I love it like a brother!
This is the best product I have ever purchased. I do a lot of wild camping in Ireland and during the winter months I used to cease camping for long periods in the colder weather because of hypothermia risks etc. A friend of mine was given one of these for Christmas a couple of years ago and it instantly changed our outlook on winter camping. I had to buy one and now I use it every time the weathers bad. It's a great addition to a teepee tarp shelter and its great for cooking on. Load it up before bed and it'll burn for a few hours and keep you warm during the night and if loaded properly you'll be able to restart it from embers in the morning. One thing I would say is, if you buy one, oil it every time you use it to stop the paint from burning away, do this religiously and it'll delay the rusting.

Way over priced for what you get
The perfomance of the stove would be greatly improved by a few simple changes. Such as a regulated air vent in the door, a baffle and a grate to alow air under the fule. Allso the top of the stove does not have a full air tight seal all the way a round. If it had these it would just about be value for money. as its stands it is very over priced for what you get which is ultimately an incomplete stove that deeds modifying to get the best out of it.

Cook & warm
Up to now we've only used this once to try it out, it's off on a longer trip soon. Quite happy with the ease of lighting, need to have a stock of wood ready to re-fill. The legs seem a bit flimsy but they are ready for all sorts of ground. We have seen another stove with a large flat 'plate' on top and can see the advantage of one to give a much larger pan-sitting area - with an area away from the hotter spots. The lip is essential to keep sparks and ash falling out unexpectedly. Packs away neatly.

Fantastic Frontier
We are absolutely delighted with this, have used it in the garden and on camping trips. Easy to use, and cooks up to 4 small-ish pans; frying pan, griddle and kettle saucepans all used successfully. Uses very little fuel, we take a bag of smallish bits of wood and branches with us, and it soon gets going and chucks out the heat. A bit messy to clean up, but it all folds back and is stored in its original box for next time. It always interests other campers too. Worth every penny!

Don't waste your time and money
When searching for a burner for my small hut in the woods ..... I probably wasn't alone in seeing the frontier stove everywhere ..... It is the most affordable burner of this status I could find! After using it a few times and some research I found it's extremely high maintenance, for example cleaning the flu every 2 days and also so minor faults like the leaking hot
