Just what I needed and quick delivery

I bought this brass sheet to cut small, intricate brass slider contacts for a project to replicate vintage Jeanrenaud DPDT parallel slide switches for a Brian May Red Special guitar. The thickness (0.34 mm) was as described and ideal for my requirements. I was concerned that it would not mill easily and prepared to score it using a heavy duty utility blade then cut it using precision tin snips. Thankfully, I found that using a 0.6 mm or 0.8 mm two flute end mill with very slow feed rates and using dry PTFE lubricant yielded a highly satisfactory result on my Stepcraft 2/840 hobby class CNC machine. The sheet bends quite easily but has sufficient mechanical strength and will be ideal for a wide variety of hobbycraft uses.
