I'm reasonably competent, not ham fisted... The waterproof jacket I attempted to repair looked like stevie wonder had been let loose icing a cake!! I wouldn't recommend this product, certainly not for clothing. After 4 months the glue failed, so not only did I get in a stringy mess, got adhesive where adhesive didn't belong but the blooming thing failed regardless.... Go ahead, buy it, try it and think of me when you're cursing.

Yes it should fix this. You need to make a thick film of adhesive over the damaged area and leave over night to cure.

I'm no expert but I don't see why not. It did a great job on the heel of my trainer which was seriously worn. Fixed it months ago and still holding up well.
