0258986602 - Universal lambda sensor with patented Bosch connector

Seems to be a great solution if your existing connector is in good condition still! Attached some photos of the kit and instructions for reference.

I purchased this as my previous lambda sensor failed on my MX5 Mk2, showing extreme lean mixture readings. This was easy to wire up and a universal fit (so you do need to research your current vehicle wiring to match up correctly) No complaints at all, hopefully this will last a long time

Bought this from Amazon warehouse and I am so glad I did... Had I bought it at RRP I would have been incredibly upset. The lambda itself is great! Comes pregreased and is an OEM part. The universal fitting is the most frustrating thing ever encountered. Every time I got a wire in and tightened it stripped one end and needed to start again. If the original lambda plugs were damaged like mine, it's a good purchase, a very good one, but don't think it will be a quick job

Bought this for my microcar mc1 2004 as the original had given up causing the car to run roughly and stall. I'm a mechanic by trade so it was easy for me to swap the old 1 out and the new 1 in as regards the odd universal connector block it's really no hard to fit just strip the wires about 10 / 12mm and insert into the fitting and tighten it as per the fool proff instructions provided with the sensor. So far so good. Can't beat bosch on quality and price especially when it all functions as it should would definitely recommend 👌

Everything Bosch is reliable and top quality - however the need to save some money on repairs I purchased this universal fitting sensor - it relies on you understanding the visual only instructions from the box, I searched online and found a video from Bosch but the process and measurements are slightly different - I am adept at car mechanics but this was a real pain to put together, fiddly, tricky thing to do - I wish I’d paid the extra £20 for the correct fitting sensor - now the original - which was fine but is now useless with the connector cut off - to fit to this version - more resources in landfill ….

Returned, was missing a part but also is quite bulky and technical, is far better to buy the correct one instead of a universal fit

Good, but unfortunately the item is not compatible to my 2006 Audi A3. Price is decent compared to other shops.

Replaced my motorbikes original exhaust system and the O2 sensor was well and truly seized in. No amount of wd-40, heat or tapping was working. Ended up stripping the nut edges. Bought this as OE parts are hard to find, more expensive and poorer quality. A few cuts and connectors and everything was perfect. Fitting was easy as my old and new wire colours were the same. Be sure to leave a little extra cable on your connector end so you can replace it in the future.

Siendote honesto La sonda lambda para el Ford fiesta 2007 3 puertas gasolina, va bien, no hay novedad alguna, no es la original pero hasta el momento no presenta fallas, yo recomiendo comprar esta mientras reúnes y compras la original.

Versandt: Zum Versandt brauche ich glaube ich nicht viel sagen, es wurde von Amazon selber geliefert und kam aufgrund von Amazon Prime am nächsten Tag an. Erster Eindruck: Die Verpackung des Produktes ist ein typischer Pappkarton und war bei mir leider an der Unterseite gerissen, weswegen ich die Teile im Amazon eigenen Karton zusammensuchen durft (dies ist jedoch höchstwahrscheinlich durch den Versandt passiert, weswegen dies keinen negativen Eindruck machen sollte). Die Lampdasonde war am gewinde mit einer Plastikkappe versehen unter welcher man erkennen konnte, dass das Gewinde bereits fertig für den Einbau eingefettet war. Des weiteren gab es 4 Kabelbinder dazu, wobei ich denke 2 größere Kabelbinder wären auch noch gut gewesen um das Kabel besser befestigen zu können. Zusätzlich gab es noch ein Verbindungsstück um den Stecker der alten Sonde mit der neuen zu Verbinden, sowie eine Anleitung, welche ziemlich genau erklärt wie man das Kabel verbinden muss. Einbau: !! Wichtig Lambdasondenschlüssel, Seitenschneider und Abisolierungstool werden benötigt!! Der Einbau gestaltete sich sehr leicht, alte Sonde raus, Kabel mit dem Seitenschneider durchtrennt und wie in der Anleitung beschrieben mit der neuen Sonde verbunden. Da die neue Lambdasonde bereits eingefettet war konnte ich diese direkt wieder einbauen (siehe Bilder). Beim Kabel ist zu beachten, dass dieses nun etwas länger sein kann, weswegen ich empfehlen würde es am Schlauch der Kühlflüssigkeit, sowie am Plus oder Minuspol zu Befestigen, damit dieses nicht in die Lüftung oder die Schaltung geraten kann (siehe Bilder). Fahrleistung: Meiner Ansicht nach hat sich im Gegensatz zur originalen Lambdasonde kein bemerkbarer Unterschied gezeigt, ich habe keinen niedrigeren Verbrauch und keinen Leistungsverlust. Jedoch kann ich nun nach 600km Strecke seit dem Einbau sagen, dass diese Sonde keinerlei Mängel zeigt und einen sehr guten Eindruck macht.

Très bonne alternative pour une réparation fiable peu importe le connectique d'origine que sera récupéré.
