Is it bluetooth and wi fi compatable?

This only works as a slave to whatever output you choose. This sub has no Bluetooth connectivity.

Would this be suitable for HD6? or should I get S8?

I would get the S8 if I had the HD6. The S6 I have is fine for the A1's or A2's.

Description says this is good for a "desktop". How will the sound be affected if it's on the floor, in the corner of my office?

I have mine on a shelf under my desk and it sounds fine. After you calibrate the S6 subwoofer to your likings, it will add a nice depth and fullness to your music and videos. S6 Subwoofer.

I have paired this speaker with Audioengine's A2+ which now gives them the low end punch they require. Clean, tight bass from this relatively small speaker. Excellent build quality. I can highly recommend.

High quality and powerful

I got this to complement my Audio engine 2+ speakers. Plug straight in with the supplied RCA cable. Takes some adjustment as there are volume and crossover controls. If you are new to this as I was, volume is the overall volume of the output and crossover is the frequency at which the sub starts to work. Lower means it will only kick in at super low thumps, higher means it will be more integrated into low end range of sound. As it explains in the simple manual - experiment! One thing though, it is very, very powerful so paired with my little speakers for music it's almost on minimum volume. I've got the crossover about two thirds up so it's a smoother effect. Brilliant results now it's set up for my ears!
