Bright, Versatile, and Easy-to-Install Ceiling Light
I recently got the Lepro Bathroom Ceiling Light, and it's been a great addition to my home. The 24W LED light is impressively bright, filling the room with a crisp daylight white that's perfect for bathrooms, kitchens, or even the hallway. The IP54 waterproof rating is a big plus, especially for damp areas. Installation was a breeze, and the 28CM size fits perfectly on the ceiling without being too bulky. Overall, it's a solid, reliable light that’s great for any room where you need bright, even lighting. Highly recommend!

Very bright, with some issues.
The first thing I’d say is I’m very impressed with the light output, the fittings look okay & they’re cheap. However, as can be seen from photos on other reviews, installation isn’t always straightforward.Part of the fitting’s specification is its water resistance. There is a gasket around the terminal cover to assist with this. If single insulated cable (or stripped flex etc) is used, the gasket won’t seal the cover. A correctly sized & stripped flex needs to be used to maintain water resistance - which is where we come to issue number 2.Most uk lights are wired using the ‘looped in’ method. This means you will normally encounter a minimum of two cables, each containing three wires. On most fittings there will be three cables (nine wires) and occasionally there may be a looped supply to another lamp, totalling twelve wires! These fittings have provision for a maximum of four wires, two ‘live’ (switch wires) & two neutral. That’s assuming you use flat 2-core flex, or you’ll be back to losing water resistance. This leaves you with a couple of problems - firstly you’ll need some flex, which isn’t provided. Secondly, you’ll need to make the other wires off safely. The usual solution is to stick them into connector blocks, joining the switch wire & neutral connections onto your flex & stuffing the blocks into the ceiling, leaving the flex dangling to connect to the fitting. This doesn’t comply with the wiring regulations though & definitely limits the water resistant qualities.Assuming you find your way around that issue, there are another couple of minor niggles. One is what first appears to be a good idea - the metal bracket the unit clips onto. A sensible design would have clips that disengaged when pushed, but the designers went for the easier ‘disengage when pulled’ option. There isn’t much space to do this, so unless you have thin & nimble fingers you may end up having to use a loop of string or a long nosed pliers to pull the clips back.(I notice that on the newer model, it comes with attached flex & the clip bracket has been abandoned). Finally, the lamps aren’t replaceable. They’re supposed to last 20,000 hours, which is around the same as a standard LED lamp..... in my experience, LED lamps don’t last 20,000 hours in the real world. When they fail though, I just swap the lamp. When one of these goes, the whole fitting is shot & needs replacing. They’re cheap, but not as cheap as replacement lamps.Overall, I think they’re a worthwhile buy, especially if they can be wired in flex from an accessible joint box. Very bright, so ideal in many situations & good value as long as the lamps don’t burn out too quickly.

really pleased with this sealed units performance and ease of fitting
this sealed design is much better than units I have fitted to my flats (landlord) in the past, the quality of light was also very good too

Nice light, shame about the hum.
The fixture is great. Fully sealed and easy to install. All plastic so no earth wire. The light it gives out bright and white. Which we wanted.Annoyingly there is a faint hum/buzz. Like you would expect from an older style fluorescent tube. Watching TV, you wouldn't hear it. But reading a book, it would be very annoying.

Great light.
I read a few reviews and some were complaining about the difficulty to fit this light. It’s honestly not that hard. Being doubly insulated there is no earth and the spring-clip electrical connections (everywhere these days) aren’t huge - so it might be a struggle depending on your wire size. The height your are at when fitting any lights makes a huge difference too. Use a proper sized stepladder and don’t be doing everything at arms reach. There is nowhere really to put any connection box, so if you are replacing an older light you’ll need to connect up separately and put that in above the light only leaving the L&N coming out of the hole.Upsides: it’s bright, good looking and cheap.Downsides: be aware that the rubber ‘cable entry’ comes off with a pull and if you put it on backwards (like I did) the lid won’t fit - just turn it around and you’ll be fine. Also, the (genuinely good) idea of the clipping system that holds it on to the ceiling can only really go in one orientation - due to the cable entry this really limited where I could place the fitting and it ended up being closer to my window than I would have liked - I could have moved it, but it would have meant more faffing around and I was on a time limit. Maybe I’ll go back to it later. All in: great product and I’d certainly buy again.

Exactly What We Were Looking For
Painting project forced up to upgrade an old (1960) 2nd floor incandescent hallway light. We labored over what type/style would be best. Were apprehensive at first. This light was PERFECT. Easy installation. Clean design and attractive low profile look. MUCH brighter than our previous 100W incandescent fixture. An amazing improvement. We are considering buying more for other spaces in our home.

De momento, bien.
Bien. Ligero, elegante y fácil de instalar, con las lógicas complicaciones que puedan surgir (que siempre parece muy simple y luego se complica). Pero bien. Ligero y con gran calidad de luz. De momento, perfecto.
