Ugly's Electrical References, 2023 Edition

GREAT reference! Easy to use, small enough to tote around to jobs!

Great little cheat book, love having this with me during work it takes important information from the nec electrical book and its very simple to use. Would recommend getting one and same some space in your tool chest.

When you do electrical work, you follow the code. To do otherwise is just foolhardy and stupid. This little book is handy and a lot easier to carry around than the code book. It has the tables references needed to do calculations. This matters when you do a lot of field work. Every site is different and you want to get it right. Here’s your guide and in a most convenient size. Up to date and easy to use. Best get one for yourself and have it handy the next time you have to calculate for wire size or other important things.

I'm extremely impressed with the Ugly's Electrician Guide I recently acquired. This comprehensive reference has proven to be an invaluable tool for anyone working in the electrical field. The guide's concise explanations, clear diagrams, and easy-to-navigate layout make it a must-have resource for both beginners and experienced electricians. It has helped me solve various challenges on the job and has become a constant companion in my toolbox.However, my one wish is that Ugly's would release a specific guide tailored to instrumentation. While the electrician guide is fantastic, I find myself needing more detailed information related to instrumentation techniques and principles. Given the high quality of Ugly's resources, I'm confident that a dedicated instrumentation guide would be equally outstanding and immensely beneficial. Until then, I'll continue to rely on the Ugly's Electrician Guide for the majority of my needs.

The UGLY book contains a quick info source for regular needs. Been looking at UGLY books for decades, and will always update as needed with a new one.

I've been using the 2023 edition of Ugly’s Electrical References for a few months now, and it's honestly one of the handiest tools I keep with me. It’s packed with quick info like wire sizes, conduit fill, and formulas I need on the job. The layout is clean, and the spiral binding makes it easy to flip through. It’s not something you'd use to learn from scratch, but if you already know the basics, this book saves time and keeps you accurate.

Every couple of years my husband asks me for an updated version of this book. He says it's a useful, must-have tool that he uses all the time. It gets thrown in his bag often and looks a little beat up after several years of use but it always stays intact. The 2023 version is the latest in our house which he promptly geeked out about upon receiving it. He says the value is good since it's chalked full of so much information and it lasts him so many years. So, there you go. This Ugly little book is a winner!
