Dexter Modern, Men's Bowling Shoes

I had an issue with the shoes that may be due to my slide but within about 6 months the non slide shoe front sole would come off, the velcro would not hold any longer. I contacted Dexter and although this specific color is no longer made and is discontinued they sent me a brand new pair in black. As far as the shoe's performance outside of that small issue they were fantastic. I love the BOA enclosure on my bowling shoes. In addition my lanes were sticker and I simply bought a sole and heel that had more slide and adjusted to get a perfect slide for my personal throwing style. These are a top notch shoe that should last a very long time and I love the adjustability of them.

Ok, so after bowling 8 games with these I can say a couple of things. If you have a wide foot then I'd order your standard size in normal width. If you're a standard width I'd go a half size down. The s8 that comes standard doesn't slide hardly all for me and I'm about 185 lbs. I'd definitely recommend going with an s10 or higher if you like to glide a bit more like I do. On me the back tends to rub a bit at the heel, but this may be a sizing issue more than a design issue. All in all a good modular shoe that is lightweight and breathes well. I'd buy another pair.

it is very comfy and looks nice. It is a bit bigger size I normally size 8 but this one fits like an 8.5. I should probably order an 7.5 for this kind of shoes.
