An excellent buy. Especially for the price. I have used these brushes quite a bit and they are just as good as brushes that are a lot more expensive. Would be great if they did one size of brush either individually or in a pack of , say, three.

Ces pinceaux font 30 cm de long! je n'avais pas fait attention sur la photo de l'annonce... mais cela n'est pas trop grave, mes filles apprécient quand même de peindre avec. Getting these was like a commercial where it made me wonder why I threw money down the garbage disposal to acquire some of those more expensive brushes.

I think that the supplier has run out of the "flat" and "long wooden handles" variety and substituted a close item from the Golden Maple's products line. The brushes I received are not "flat" but "filbert" and sport shorter translucent plastic handles. See the picture. Actually, for watercolor work, I like the shorter handles better... The product quality is very good... no, excellent! I used the size 10 and 12 for several hours over a couple sessions when they had time to dry completely in between. They hold their Filbert shape pretty well during the whole cycle. These are made of natural (weasel/squirrel) hair, quite soft and holding a lot of fluid without dripping... and the hair stay put, believe me! (they did loose a few at the initial soaking up, just like my expensive brand did, just to mention). For those reading this, jump on the opportunity to obtain a top-quality set of watercolor brushes for less than the price of a single top brand #2 filbert... Amazing, while it lasts...

The brushes are used for oil painting and I am pleased with the results. They hold paint well, feel well balanced , clean easily (not that cleaning oil brushes is ever easy), and maintain their shape well.
