Excellent tool - Esssential for fitting plasterboard wall anchors
If you plan to attach anything of significant size to plasterboard then you will need to use effective fittings. Metal wall anchors are the strongest, and easiest to use - but only if you have a tool like this. This one is sturdy and very easy to use. It comes with no instructions but quite easy to work out. Pull the trigger on the tool to ensure it is fully released, unscrew the anchor bolt a little an fit it into the end of the tool, push the bolt (using the tool) into your pre-drilled hole until fully through the wall, now pull the tool's trigger several times until tight (it is on a ratchet) and then press the trigger to release it - DONE. This really makes the job very easy.

Works perfectly, good quality
Used a molly gun before to install tv's and large full motion brackets onto plaster board walls. Used this one to put up a mirrored bathroom cabinet, it worked great and feels good quality. When using it you drill a hole for an umbrella/plasterboard fixing these are made for. Remove the screw, hammer into the hole (should be snug enough you need a hammer) re insert screw but leave enough gap to slot Uo pening at end of molly gun between wall and screw head. Make sure molly gun is fully closed/reset so both the outer U opening and U that'll move with the trigger are flat together. When ready fully pull trigger once, then again, after 2 strong pulls (if the screw was close to the wall) the 3rd should be very tight. Don't over tighten at this point because you can pull the screw out of it's threading. The screw only threads into it's umbrella fixing a little at the very end (but holds fast to good weights).

First timer using anchor gun - great results
I haven’t used anchor gun before, will always use in future. I have previously had mixed results anchoring fixings with screwdrivers. This gave solid fixings instantly. Hung a 6 foot vertical mirror on plaster wall and it feels sound. Go to you tube check out the how to videos, buy if right for your job, drill correct size holes, insert anchor, use gun to fix anchor, job done.

Great product.
This product is amazeballs, I can't recomend it more. I don't like normal "self tapping" plasterboard rawlplug because in the past I've always accidentally screwed it a bit out of place. When you're putting in more than one plug for an item (say a shelf), and one goes adrift, it's a real pain to fix. Not with this puppy! You drill a hole exactly where you want your screw and pop the expanding rawlplugs in (sold seperately) and just pull the trigger a few times. I kept pulling the trigger until I could hear it biting into the plaster lightly - take note not to put your hand over the pin at the base of the gun whilst you pull. Push the release trigger and you're done. Would buy again but the device is so simple I can't see how it could evver break, unless you leave it compreessed for a long time in a box (wearing out the spring).

Excellent Tool must have in your kit
This tool is the find of the year for me it makes hanging shelves on plasterboard walls a doddle. I've used it with M5 wall anchors and hung shelves and a big tv bracket with it. It is well made and I can see it lasting a very long time. I highly recommend buying this

Fantastic - A no-brainer
This tool is fantastic - It's really solid and well made, and makes installation of cavity wall fixings SO much simpler and cleaner. The tool has a ratchet so you just slide the tool over the screw head and pull the 'trigger' as many times as you need to pull the screw and lock the fixing without placing any stress on the plasterboard itself. I found this tool especially valuable in cases where the cavity behind the plasterboard was quite shallow, which can cause problems getting the wall anchor pushed all the way in (as you have to if you want to expand the anchor by just using the screen itself). If you need to install even a few of those expanding metal cavity-wall fixings, do yourself a favour and save yourself a LOT of stress and swearing. Get this!

Sturdy and great quality
I searched so much to find one of these heavy duty plasterboard setting tool as most are poor thin Chinese disposable ones but so glad I found this (seems UK made) and used it with ease and it is exactly what I wanted

Limitations
This is a robust tool that works with most hollow wall anchors, however the set of M6 anchors with pan heads that I brought from B & Q had a head too wide to fit in the tool. Only by replacing the screws with ones with counter sunk heads could I make it work. Fortunately this worked well in the job I was using it for. However this limitation perhaps should be pointed out in the description. That some larger diameter anchors will not fit in it

L'articolo è molto valido per chi, come me, ha a che fare con pannelli di fibra di gesso da 3 cm. Buco al pannello, inserisci il tassello adatto, usi la pistola e il gioco è fatto. Prodotto CONSIGLIATO
