Buy Technical Analysis FD 3e (For Dummies Series) 3rd by Rockefeller (ISBN: 9781118779613) from desertcart's Book Store. Everyday low prices and free delivery on eligible orders. Review: Great read!!!!! - Great read, great value, exactly as described thank you for my purchase. Review: Losses can exceed deposits - This is an excellent book that details all aspects of technical analysis. It's really well written and has loads of specific pointers/tips that can be thought about without needing to read the whole book in one go. The book dismisses "buy & hold" pretty quickly in the intro, which seems a bit harsh. Anyone who has tried using shorter term time frames will likely testify how difficult this method is to get consistently right. If you can buy "good" companies at the "right time", then buy and hold is likely better long term. The example charts aren't great, which is the only real downside but the the book's worth buying for the written analysis alone.

One of the better books but tends to be biased towards the Stockmarket
One of the better books but tends to be biased towards the Stockmarket..Best book, but, with a LOT of stuff NOT related to Binary Options .'.Binary Options' by Abe Cofnas.Best simple read on the subject,'Trading Binary Options for Fun and Profit by Jose Batista but also contains some waffle too.SOMEDAY someone will write a GOOD READ on Binary Options...I am still waiting !!! To be honest I have become suspicious of some of these "book write upsi.e".Options Trading for Beginners" not even a book, more like a 'Booklet' and TOTAL GARBAGE.

I bought this book on the recommendation of other readers ...
I bought this book on the recommendation of other readers who have rated it very highly! Personally, I found this book very dry and difficult to engage with! I think this is probably because the book was not written well after all charting is a practical skill of following prices and identifying when to buy and when to sell. Perhaps if the author of the book gave real life examples for explaining each concept's I would have given a more favourable review as this would have made the ideas more tangible! The second and third issue with the book is its length and RRP price. At over 300 pages this is far too long for a book of this nature consequently the book is overpriced at £10. I rarely go out my way to give such a negative review but this is probably one book that you should avoid having on your shelf!

this is a very good book ,it breaks down all the fine details into simple context. it covers all aspects of TA from basic to complex I think anyone can benefit from this book from the advanced trader to the novice trader, this book has a good index section as a guide post for easy look up,this book is put together very well . Listen, I have been trading for many years, but even still I will use this book for brushing up on some key issues. it's very helpful I personally haven't read the book cover to cover, because I only use it need it to touch up on some key points, but sure it's best to read this book cover to cover for the beginners I say read it cover to cover,& learn the basics. Again this book is good for all levels from advanced to beginners it covers every aspect of TA. I must admit even I didn't know about some key points till I read this book. Again it's very helpful. you might find yourself thinking to yourself wow! I didn't know about this. try it ,buy it,get a feel of it, see how it grabs you, Once you learn the key points you can try paper trading or books on day trading in the series.

This book offers information of nearly everything of the technical analysis field. It doesn't matter the kind of person you are, how your psychological profile is. You can find at least a handful of useful information, and that's reason enough for me to get this book.

If you are completely new to technical analysis and starting out in the field, this book won't disappoint. It covers all the essential topics in a very lucid and clear manner, with lots of illustrations and examples. There is lots of very useful and sane advice regarding trading also. One suggestion is to straightaway jump to Chapter 6 after the Introduction and the 1st Chapter and then read all the way to the end till Chapter 17, before coming back for Chapters 2-5, which offer brilliant overviews and advice. Chapters 6-17 explain the main tenets one by one. This is how I got the most out of this book. For all budding technical analysts, this book is one you really want to have.
