Q: Where can I buy the replacement filter in the bottom of the case? Or do I have to buy new with every bottle?

I contacted the manufacturer asking about this, you don't need to buy a replacement filter for the 12 oz double pack. Here's their response.: "Thank you for contacting Alcon. This email is in response to your inquiry below. When used as directed, the lens case (cup and disc) packaged with two bottles (twin pack) of CLEAR CARE® Cleaning & Disinfecting Solution is designed to be used with both bottles. Another new lens case should not be needed. The twin packs that contain more than 32 fl. oz. in the bottles of CLEAR CARE Solution are supplied with two (2) fresh new lens cases. • Discard any remaining solution 3 months after opening. • The Discard date refers to the time you can safely use contact lens care product after the bottle has been opened. It is not the same as the expiration date, which is the last date that the product is still effective before it is opened. WARNING: Using your solution beyond the discard date could result in contamination of the solution and can lead to severe infection, vision loss or blindness. • To avoid contamination, DO NOT touch tip of container to any surface. Replace cap after using. • To avoid contaminating your solution, DO NOT transfer to other bottles or containers. Should you have any follow up questions or require further assistance, please contact Medical Product Information using the contact information listed below. Thank you for your interest in Alcon products."

Q: Anyone getting residue left on contacts after cleaning?

If my contacts are new I don't have any issues. But if my contacts are old, and protein has started building up on them, I've found that if I rub both surfaces of the contacts before placing in the clear care solution, I have no residue left on contacts after cleaning.

Q: does anyone know where to get the lense case only without the solution?????

No but I’ve been using this for years and probably have a couple gallons of the solution. Been looking myself for just the holder. Clear care is getting hard to find in the stores now and have been using the knockoffs. They work well too!

Q: If I leave my lenses in the solution longer, will it make my lenses more moisturized? I opened a pack yesterday, one is perfect, the other is very dry

I'm not sure I tend to leave mine in the solution for days and get the same results as if I left them only overnight, but I know since using this solution they last longer for me and don't get uncomfortable as quick as they use to from build up and etc.
