Superb secateurs, highly recommend.
Bought it for my mom and she loves it. It is very sharp and very easy to cut. Ergonomic handles feel great in the hand. Out of my many presents she loves this one the most by far. I have bought her before Spear & Jackson, which were good for its price but Felco is totally different league. If you use secateurs often and can afford Felco, buy it, you would never regret.

Sharp and accurate cut
My second pair in 45 years of gardening. Superb Swiss quality and engineering. Perfect for roses and smaller shrubs. Cut is clean and precise. Comfortable to use and easy to maintain and sharpen. As with Haws watering cans, the quality will be remembered while the price forgotten.

An excellent buy.
An excellent pair of secateurs, they are light and very sharp. The swivel handle takes a lot of the strain normally associated with repetitive use. As expected from a reputable company these are well engineered and a joy to use. Although more expensive than some they are well worth investing in if like me you are in the garden much of the week.

felco - different to hold
Felco secateurs work well over long periods, the Model 12 has a rotating section on the left hand grip to make it more comfortable to use. A bit strange at first, but get familiar. It remains to be seen how freely continues to move with use.

You get what you pay for!
I bought these for my wife as she is a keen gardener and she has used a variety of secateurs over recent years! Not particularly satisfied with those she has used so far she sought recommendation from a friend who does it for a living. He said that whilst these were expensive, they always did the job, he had used them for years and was always satisfied with them and would now use nothing else. On his recommendation she has a pair now and is totally satisfied with them. It just takes a little getting used to the rolling handle grip as it moves in her hand, however this has proved to be a real boon and has helped significantly to the comfort whilst using them. The old adage you get what you pay for is true and these are excellent.

So much easier for small ageing hands
Much as I love my older and larger Felco secateurs a long day's pruning increasingly leaves my hands almost too sore to function the following day. These solve the problem. I won't be completely abandoning the old ones as they cut slightly larger branches, but these really do add to my armoury and vastly increase my work rate. Why do I do long days of pruning? I've a three acre deliberately wild garden to manage. Without really good secateurs I can't do it. And the old ones can now go to Felco for an overdue overhaul which will bring them back to me looking and feeling brand new. I love the brand and the service. Note, they felt really weird the first couple of times I used them - but not any longer
