THE WRITING BOARD The first thing I did when I got this calculator was write on the attached writing board. It's the best feature of this calculator and I had to see how bright the writing was and how easy it was to clear. The writing was nice, just as nice as my Boogie Board, but when I tried to clear the writing, it would not clear. I looked everywhere on this page for an explanation. I checked the manual. I couldn't find anything about the clear button. So I contacted the seller and they wrote me back the same day. They explained how the clear button works: On the bottom of your calculator, there is a switch. If the switch is set to lock, flip the switch to the unlock symbol Then hit the clear button. (The clear button is the circular button under your number keys) It should work, if it does not work, then the device is faulty. My device was not faulty. This information should probably be easier to find, but I couldn't find it anywhere. On to the rest of the calculator. THE STYLUS fits seamlessly on the side and attaches securely with a magnet. THE LOCK BUTTON locks the calculator closed and keeps your screens protected, it also secures any writing you may have done on the writing board. I absolutely love that they added a HOME KEY (the little bump on the 5) on the number buttons. I am an avid believer in the home position when I type on the keyboard. So my hands always start at the home keys (asdf and jkl;), that way I don't have to look down on the keyboard when I type. This makes it so much more efficient to type. I do the same thing with my Numpad (home key: 5), so the fact that they added the little bump has made this easily a 5-star calculator for me. I will update this review if there are any issues.

I ordered this calculator again because I lost the last one. Even though it is listed as the same product, the second calculator has a different writing surface that seems loose and fragile. The last time I ordered this, it was great to write on, not very good on the second one. It’s like there is a loose piece of film instead of a writing surface. On the other hand, the buttons are soft but secure feeling and I like them better.

Works great and daughter loves it.

It Works... I can write down notes, like a food shopping list, and can calculate as I shop... the write and SAVE works, and can be easily read, and quickly erased when no longer needed.. Construction feels solid... Carry case is nice as I can loop it through my belt so I don't have to fill my pockets and it's right there.

I was looking for a calculator to keep n in my profolio. This one does not fit. I like that it has a rechargable battery. But thats it. Was a little disappointed the calculator pen falls out. It appears it's magnetic is not strong enough to hold the pen. And the note pad is entirely to dark to take notes. It would be better if the marks showed up brighter. Not a good fine. Needs to go back to the drawing board. The case that came with the calculator was joke, it nearly holds it and the cord.

Great for my job as a Vet tech! So handy to jot down some TPR values and do drug calculations too!! No more running for scrap paper or mini note pad!!

when you write on pad its very dim

La compre para mi niño, por el precio esperaba mayor calidad, Las teclas al presionarlas no están tan sensibles ,requiere que las presiones con fuerza,la pantalla no presenta la operación completa ,es decir la ponen partes por ejemplo 2+ y luego 3 en lugar de 2+3 me parece que te puedes confundir, la imagen de la pantalla para escribir, es muy tenue el color, tienes que remarcar lo que escribes para que se note, en General cumple su función pero El precio es Elevado para lo que ofrece el producto.Tiene una funda la cuál es ajustada, esta difícil de de colocar.
