Worked for me!
I found this to be a great little test. Easy to follow instructions. Waited the 3 minutes and the reading appeared fine. Just had to decide which green was the most similar. Not the result I wanted mind!

Rubbish! Waste of money
Cannot read the result. I followed the instructions exactly as they are very simple. I put the correct amount of blood on the test strip and waited the specified 3 minutes. When I peeled back the strip most of it was black and red with a tiny green spot so small I could not compare it to the green results chart. They need to provide more test strips as they clearly do not work every time.

Quality is poor
I don’t normally write reviews but I was really disappointed with this product. When I removed the top section to check the result, the test strip broke away, this made it impossible to determine the result. No returns or refund. Basically wasted twenty quid.

Easier than going to the doctor for a check!
Was told I had to wait three months for a recheck of cholesterol, but wanted to know if the diet changes were working, so bought this kit on recommendation of a friend. The main thing to note is READ THE INSTRUCTIONS FULLY FIRST!!! Get prepared, make sure you know what you have to do, and then it's easy, but timing is important, so there's no point in starting the test and then reading the notes, by then the reading will be inaccurate. Also note the advice to eliminate the readings that are clearly not your own and then it's easier to decide which category matches your reading. When I got the hospital's results, they were exactly the same! A great kit, I think. But I say again: READ THE INSTRUCTIONS FULLY FIRST! Then it's easy.

Over priced total waste of money. I am surprised Amazon allows this to be sold on here .

Accurate results
I had a test at my doctors so, as this was a little high, I decided to take more exercise every day. After a few weeks I used this total cholerterol test to check how things were going and it has shown a slight improvement. So, I think this kit must be pretty accurate, as exercise is supposed to help and I had become somewhat of a couch potato a few days a week, tut-tut, allowing my level of cholesterol to rise. The kit is easy to use and, providing there is good enough light, you can determine the figure that is indicated on the circular chart - just rotate the test indicator around.

Blood everywhere, one sore finger, no result, feely bloody angry.
Completely offing useless. Should be withdrawn immediately. First you need to draw blood using their lancet. I followed their instructions and no, the thing doesn't work. The lancet in their photo was rather different to the unit in my pack, maybe that was why. Lacking a short sharp shock I managed to make not one but two pin pricks using - yes - a pin. Armed with an emerging drop of blood I opened the packet containing the test device. The test looks like the unit pictured on the box. It is totally different to the unit in the instructions. The key thing you need to know is where to put your vital fluid and this isn't explained by the wrong instruction sheet. So I dropped my blood on each of the two obvious openings and duly waited. Result? Nothing. Nothing of any kind, type, colour or indicator. So I am none the wiser about my health, oh, except that financially I am poorer, more annoyed and probably with much higher blood pressure. You have to seriously question the validity of any medical testing company when they can't match test equipment with the correct instructions.
