These are just what I needed as the leads which came with my new turntable were just a tad short and made setting up really awkward for me. These are good quality leads and have a nice snug fit and really give a good sound so no complaints here. Good price and good quality.

Tested on marantz, tascam and pioneer and quality is very good.

Superb quality

Since getting my vintage record player and amplifier about 10 years ago, I have been using a pair of old RCA cables that my dad had kept from years ago. I always thought that the slight hum you could hear in my setup was always going to be there, and I resigned myself to the fact that maybe there was an issue with grounding or something like that. After listening to a record for the first time in a while the other day using my headphones, I noticed the sound was moving from one ear to the other and was crackling badly when I fiddled with the RCA cables, so I went online and purchased these KabelDirect ones to replace them. I fitted them once they arrived and lo and behold, the dreaded hum I had grown so used to was gone! They fitted onto my setup easily with a little push (my old ones felt very loose and moved around a lot - not like these new ones. They feel quite secure). The cable is quite short (1M) but my turntable and amplifier sit right next to each other, so no issue there - I probably could have gone even shorter to be honest). They feel very nicely made, with tough rubber and good quality metal. There’s a small red line to indicate the right side input which is useful and a little more stylish and less glaringly obvious than I completely red one like my old cable. I am really pleased with my purchase and I kind of wish I had bought new RCA cables sooner!

Have used a few of these cables with my music system to connect preamp to power amp, DAC to preamp, CD/SACD player to integrated amp and with an AV processor thrown. Work well with everything. The cable plugs have a firm fit to the equipment but are not overly tight, unlike the QED Performance Graphite which are extremely tight but they are so difficult to remove that one could easily damage the terminals of the equipment in the process. These KabelDirekt plugs are tight but not too tight. Have compared the fit and sound quality to a range of other cables that I own. Van den Hul - The Well (over £100 a pair), QED Performance Graphite (about £23), Primewire (about £7). The Primewire I found to be the least tight and could easily come loose when fiddling about with the various interconnections, the Van den Hul has about the same fit as the KabelDirekt, while the QED is absurdly over tight. All sound the same and my system is high end, it is very easy to believe that one does hear a difference when comparing cables or any other bits of HiFi equipment but all too often I have realised later with more careful testing that there is no difference. If there is a real difference it should be easy to hear and that difference should stay there on repeated listening. Interesting to note that some high end equipment makers say that exotic cables are not needed, just use short cables with good connections, low resistance and robust mechanical quality. The only time I found a difference with cables was with a cheap balanced XLR pair which effectively isolated the signal from extraneous interference noise but actually made the sound worse for some unexplained reason. Maybe for balanced cables they were just too cheap.

Made and priced to look really special but surprisingly mechanically loose over 3 lots of RCA phono. I bought 1 x 7.5 m and 2 x 1 m in one order. I can't downgrade starwise too much as a quick pinch from some pliers with a cloth between the jaws to stop marking the metal and they are staying on fine- and i needed them as soon as i had them for a recording session.It was also December 22nd! Didn't dismantle these and do my usual *omg what have we here* ocd routine when something new bugs me a bit, but resistance is pretty low and better than standard or above average rca phonos you might typically come across, they certainly won't be breaking in a hurry and seem strong providing they aren't used outdoors or on the move,not quite convinced quality control is always examining these as they should be for the higher price asked. Perhaps demand was high at Xmas and it was a fluke. When i connected them i listened carefully for buzzing and earth loop problems they were all ok,there were none. They sound fine several months since purchase haven't become damaged nor gone open circuit while taking out and putting into another source or lost ground signal. Could have come in a furry carry case or something attractive rather than an unbranded plastic bag for what they cost. Obviously that's just for presentation and wow factor but when I spend a bit more on "pro" versions of boring things like RCA phonos I usually see something quirky like a nice bag and packaging with a warranty card and some company history. Those kind of things are always reassuring but are totally absent with the ones we bought here. Warranty Info should be included with every product that carries a "pro" in the title,no excuses.

I cavi di KabelDirekt sembrano di qualità. Li uso oramai da diversi mesi ed il suono è molto pulito e chiaro anche a basso volume. L'unico peccato è che ii cavi sono in plastica rigida, non morbida come speravo.

Lågt pris och jag borde inte bli förvånad… Kontakterna är helt ok kvalitet men kabel är någon budgetvariant eller väldigt gammalt, styv och oböjlig. De fungerar nog som se ska men jag köper nåt annat.
