Great pair of scissors using in a professional setting good sharp edge and good points

I bought these scissors for my wife who is a professional hairdresser of some 40 years. She has used Jaguar Pre-Style Ergo scissors for a number of years so was aware of what to expect. From her point of view, they are very comfortable and very sharp and ideal for the purpose that they were bought for. On the negative side, she felt that the packaging felt a little cheap and flimsy when compared to previous pairs; however this was more than compensated for the very reasonable price. I did find the Invoice supplied from the German supplier a little confusing as it gave a different price to that on Amazon.

Excellent product

Simply put, these scissors are worth every penny and have performed beautifully. As a student barber I was having trouble with some cheap scissors I purchased which I didn't realise at the time were really going to have a detrimental effect on my progress at cutting hair, then my teacher lended me his Jaguar scissors and I IMMEDIATELY noticed a significant difference in my efficiency at cutting hair. If you are a student then I cannot stress how much of a world of difference it will make to have a pair of these by your side. To all student barber stylists, if you are looking for your first pair of scissors then from my experience these are what I recommend for price and performance!!

They're quite sharp but don't cut hair very well even when adjusted very tightly they often don't seem to grasp and when they do cut they leave a chopped look. The blunt scissors I was looking to replace still style better than these. They are just like extra sharp kitchen scissors (which would probably cut your hair better than these) I'd have returned them if I had used or tried to use them sooner as return period was past when I eventually tried cutting my hair with them. Wasted my money, only ordered these because professional hairdressing supplier would only sell to professional hairdressers.

Very sharp - not something you'd want a child to handle - slices through hair cleanly. This is the entry-level pair of scissors in this range but for casual trimming it's excellent and may meet the needs of most people. Reasonably comfortable to hold, inserts can be removes if one has larger fingers.
