Jungle Moc Nubuck, Men’s Loafers

I've been buying these for about 30 years now. They last about 10 years per pair in my experience. Supremely comfortable. Great for driving in, walking in. Well designed and well made.

I was lucky enough to find a pair of these shoes in my size in a Debenham's sale for £18 about 3 years ago. As soon as I tried them on I loved them ... and I was right, they have been worn for 4 or 5 days a week ever since and have walked many a mile. They look good, they make my feet feel good and I really can't fault them - like a slipper on top with a worn-in walking boot sole underneath. Just bought my second pair as I've at last worn the soles through on the first pair and Amazon are currently selling them for £42 and if you subscribe to their clothing newsletter you get a one-off discount voucher for 20% off. Still double the price of my first pair but I would happily pay full price for these. Can't rate them highly enough, I can wear these shoes for 16 hours in a day and my feet still feel great. And as a diabetic I really do need good shoes. My feet are slightly on the wide side, but these fit just fine (sizing doesn't work for all Merrell shoes in this size though, just had to return some Rant shoes as they pinch a bit). I did try the Cotton Traders clones of these shoes, and even with the wide fitting I've never felt comfortable with them, by all means give the copies a try, but these are the the real deal. At least for me, the best shoe purchase ever made.

Found these to be reasonably comfortable (a little stiff) and a little generous on fit (slightly loose - but not enough for a size change.) Quality seems quite good but I think the full asking price is too high and more to do with the Merrell brand hype - they are manufactured in China (as are many other leading brands)and for the full price would expect more expensive (not always better quality!!)European manufacture. That being said, the sale price was an absolute bargain and I am well pleased overall. Very convenient "slip-on"and light weight - can take a full days walking about town or a full day at the Art Studio doing "practical" stuff. Would certainly recommend them (providing they are not purchased at full price)!!

Excellent shoes, I put them on as soon as I got them and wear them every day.

I am on my 5th pair and have been wearing them for over a decade. They don't break, period. Since I wear them in all weather conditions, religiously doing 20k steps a day, every day, they become faded and ugly but still they never break. Then I get fed up and buy a new pair, throwing away the old one. Each pair lasted easily over 2 years. I wore a pair of Sketchers Go Walks and they were very light and comfy but were dead by the end of the first week. I drive in these as well (20k miles per year) and they withstand that abuse too. Looking for my 6th pair now. Update: Bought the 6th pair and put it away for wearing while visiting friends and family. The previously "good" pair is used as the "outdoors" pair for daily walks now and so the cycle continues.

These are so comfortable right out of the box and at this price are a real bargain. This is my second pair, my first set were worn daily for dog walking and have lasted really well. So easy to slip on and when they were new look pretty smart. After a couple of years the heel has worn a little, they look a bit tatty but they are still in daily use. I now have a smarter pair for going out! Swift delivery and excellent service.

Or so says my grandson, for whom I bought these. They are well made and sturdy. This is his second pair and considering the use he put the first pair through, they stood up to it amazingly well. Slightly shabby by the end, but the look of a well worn, well loved pair of shoes. Easy to put on and take off, which is a major consideration when you're only 12! He loves them, his parents are happy with them, and granny gets brownie points! What's not to love about these excellent shoes! Slight mix up with the delivery, but it was sorted by Amazon in a sensible, ultra speedy and customer focused manner. Brownie points for Amazon as well!

this is my third pair - oldest ones almost 10 yrs old and done great service. new pigskin colour couple years old are fine although prefer the look of new black ones. They fit, conformable, wear well and 'easy to live with'.
