I cut my ferrets nails to near the quick would this product help to stop the bleeding

It would help heal the wound but if it won`t stop bleeding a visit to the vet for antibiotics might be required. As a dog owner myself I always have claws done at the vet now as I have done the same as you in the past. Goodluck.

what is the most practical way of using this powder?

I put it in a white baby sock for my dogs foot and secured it with microspore tape, use it dry on affected areas. It does clear up cuts abrasions ect. hope this helps.

Can this be used for dog acne?

I suppose so as its medicated its soothing I have used it on myself skin is skin after all,my dog tends to be a picker he will make a tiny cut worse I always have some in the house,plus its cheap.
