50 Sheets ICE A4 220gsm Double Sided Matt / Matte Photo Paper

Having used this paper for some months it is evident that ICE paper is an ideal medium for digital photography readily complementing an Epson Photo printer. ICE paper handles blocks of colour with aplomb and although a little warmer in its tonal values than Epson Matte Paper it has other compensations, not the least is the additional weight and also being able to accept print both sides at a lower cost than single sided Epson paper. The only real flaw is the ability to print crisp text at 6 point for this is where Epson papers are unrivalled. By selecting an open font without serifs such as Gill or Gill Sans 6 point should easily be achievable but ICE cannot make the distinction and even struggles with black printed directly onto the white of the paper let alone with other colour combinations. At 8 point with an open font, Gill as mentioned or Arial for example, the results rendered become acceptable. For digital photography enthusiasts, however, ICE is an excellent paper at an economical price and worth experimenting with and, in addition, this paper laminates well too.

Great thick paper/thin cardstock - I have used it for a couple of projects now 1) making 'Inspector Gadget Go Go Mobile' favour boxes from a printed design and secondly for printing out single sided invitations in a chalkboard design. Firstly the quality is great, I have searched far and wide to find a heavyweight paper that is matt and compatible with my Canon Pixma Pro, the image clarity is great and ink absorption brilliant - dries straight out of the printer and can easily hold a lot of ink concentrated in a large area. However it is not double sided - you can print on both sides but only one side gives a good finish - the other is not terrible but this makes it quite difficult to tell which side is the good side until you actually print on it unfortunately. Secondly it's not very thick, which although is ideal for most inkjet printers - it wouldn't be suitable for items such as folding greetings cards as they will just collapse!

Excellent delivery service as it was required to produce a funeral order of service. I paid for 2 day delivery and the item actually arrived early the next day. The matt finish photo card was exactly right for the job. However, my Epson 635 printer had great difficulty picking it up, possibly due to its very smooth finish. It would only print one or two copies maximum before it was necessary to upend the printer and clean the rollers, so the printing actually took several frustrating hours to produce only the 12 or so copies required for the limited attendance due to the coronavirus restrictions. I had been planning to order more for my personal Christmas card production at the end of the year but obviously now will not. My printer is normally excellent at handling most papers, card and photo paper but this particular one was unsuitable.

This paper works fine with my HP 3831 inkjet printer, set at maximum photo quality. Seems to absorb the ink fine, with no residual wetness or lack of sharpness. I am not using for professional quality prints (mainly covers for home dvd cases), but it is working well for me, and certainly thick enough to give me the rigidity I require. I understand that there is a preferred side for single side images (top as the paper is stored in the packet), and I simply take the individual sheets out and feed them into the paper tray in that orientation. Very good price compared to the printer branded papers.

This paper was perfect for printing prints of my original artwork, I have a canon pro1000 printer and had no problems feeding it through my printer, the Matt finish gives your prints a lovely professional finish.

Photos print well

Love the quality of this card for crisp, clear prints, beats some of the more expensive cards out there. Goes smoothly through my Et8850 Will definitely buy again.

It's ok but really it's just card not like photo paper, photos print OK but doesn't look like it's printed on photo paper. I didn't realise it was card, but never mind, I do make my own bday cards, etc so will come in handy for projects. Quality is good if you making cards. Bit disappointed as other matt paper is paper not card.
