Searched high and low for a replacement bulb for our living room standard lamp. Seems like there isn't much choice in the way of quality bulbs of this kind which are dimmable. As previous reviews have pointed out these make quite a loud buzzing sound when they are dimmed. They are very bright indeed though. Probably better suites to a security light or something where noise isn't so much of a consideration.

The media could not be loaded.  I use this for an outside intruder light. It is incredibly bright, and the heat coming off it is surprising. It easily lights my entire driveway, and the street outside. Great stuff.Works well with the timer that's set up on the light fitting.

Great value and excellent replacement bulbs.

Really good value. At the price I half expected it to either be the wrong type or would fail quickly. Wrong on both counts. Delivered very quickly too.

These are dimmable but they buzz so loud when dimmed that I have to leave them on full

Excellent value from Amazon Warehouse. Open box containing nine individually sealed bulbs (missing one bulb, but still under £1 each).

The tube is bright as expected but makes the most awful buzzing noise, even when turned on fully.
