3M Littmann 5803 Classic III Stethoscope Black Edition Chestpiece, 27-Inch, Black Tube

I have tried other stethoscopes in the past that were cheaper but it is definitely worth the extra money to get clear sounds, a comfortable fit, flexibility in the tubing, good weight, a high quality feel and not to mention stylish stethoscope.

Wish these were cheaper, perfect colour, just what I expected - perfect for nurses that work in community who need to undertake manual observations! maybe even student nurses starting out. I 100% would recommend - work great.

I use this for medical school training.I recently bought this to replace my Littmann Classic II which I had lost. That previously worked very well in clinic on patients and I was very sad to lose it.I bought the Classic III which when practicing at home gives clear and loud auscultation of heart sounds. My first impression is that this is louder than the Classic II but I am unsure as to what in the design (apart from the diaphragm on the bell) is different from the Classic II.The bell comes with a small diaphragm which is to prevent debris entering the device. Can still hear heart sounds clearly.I bought the Caribbean teal and rainbow finish to make it stand out - as opposed to my all black one that almost everyone else has. Name tag will follow shortly.I haven't tried the alternative cheaper brands, but to be honest, despite the price tag, ill stick to the recommendation of the Littmann Classic brand.
