Can take a while to clear mites completely
Smells absolutely VILE. Instructions say to repeat the spraying after 3 days, however if you are trying to clear mites from your coop you'll need to do it daily. Even with not many mites it's taking a while - possibly due to current weather conditions (hot and humid alternating with heavy rain) which aren't helpful for the chooks - but the mites seem to thrive. To keep the mites off the chooks, try putting garlic in their drinking water as the mites don't like the taste of garlic in the chooks' blood.

Absolutely brilliant!
This is the answer to your mite problems. Having chickens for couple of years without any problems but ofcourse as a chicken keeper the might issue will sneak up on you at some point. I have tried many things including the DE but the mites just keep coming back. So as a last resort I thought i give spray a try and omg!! It does small lovely and does the job. The idea that you spray initially everywhere where the mites may hide and then use it as an upkeep. It has oily consistency and soaks into the wood nicely, making it unpleasant environment for the mites to be and ofcourse kills the ones that are there. Obviously don’t spray this on the chickens and ventilate well when doing it.
