LE Rechargeable Camping Lantern, 1000 Lumen Bright LED Torch Rechargeable, 5 Modes Outdoor Searchlight with 3600mAh Power Bank, Portable Work Light for Hiking, Fishing, Power Cuts, Emergency and More

Purchased this after much searching for a powerful beam torch and trawling through pages of claims by sellers of ‘mega’ lumins torches that only fell short by customers had purchased them in good faith only to be disappointed with items that didn’t live up to the hype. This is an excellent torch in terms of the bright beam that has a peripheral ‘halo’ of very useful light to Illuminate the surroundings. In addition it has the camping lantern on one side and the red flashing emergency light very useful for vehicle breakdowns etc. Also the bain of rechargeable torches life is the actual time in use before the torch actually completely dies and needs recharging, I haven’t tested this yet however it states 2 hours continuous use on full beam although a couple of contributors who have tested this actually achieved 5 hours which is a massive improvement of the old rechargeables from not that many hears ago gave 20 minutes service!! Therefore I can unreservably give the torch 5 stars as it is offers an excellent main beam plus the camping and emergency light facilities in addition to feeling robust at the same time as being Light weight.

Very lightweight, this was a pleasant surprise. It's also an excellent utility/emergency light, long. long lasting power.It has a main beam, side panel white light and side panel red warning flashing light. Its really easy to charge and and really easy to operate. Great for outdoor, car, camping, general household, loft and cellar use. I've had mine a couple of months and found it to be a very reliable piece of equipment and good value for money. Update: been using this since 2017, its now 2025, I keep it plugged in under the stairs where it is on charge. Its very reliable and robust and has come in handy many times. Get one you won't be disappointed if its emergency light you need 24/7/365. Also used many times to take on camping and fishing trips. Incredible beam on it too!

I first saw a very similar product at Homebase and I looked on Amazon and found this. I am glad I did as despite a similar appearance this one is brighter with 1000 lumen as opposed to 800 lumens. Long throwing beam with good side spill and I love the fact it used Lithium Ion batteries as supposed to the lead acid that the older halogen lights had to use, it means with the LED you get equivalent output (often actually far greater output) but much much longer runtimes. Light technology has come a long way and is also way more affordable than it used to be. The quality is okay, not premium but at the same time it's not shabby either. I have no regrets and can recommend to anyone that is looking for an inexpensive bright spotlight that can reach across a field..

Had a powercut at home and didn't have a working torch in the house so bought this thinking I might use it within the year if I was lucky. It came with a half charge so if I had needed to use it straight away I could have. Then I couldn't believe it when we had another powercut one week later so I cracked out the torch and it was incredible, really bright. So bright that it lit up our whole kitchen and had we had power we could have cooked dinner! Had it on for about 8 hours while the fault was fixed and the battery indicator lights still showed a full charge when I went to put it away. Yes, it's made of plastic but it's well made and given the size of the torch that's a plus as it's really very light and easy to carry. The shoulder strap that's included is a bonus as well. I tested the powerbank capabilities as well before I put it away and it worked a treat on my iPhone charging it pretty quickly and easily. So, I have charged the battery once, used the side light at full strength for 8 hours, charged my iPhone and then kept in my cupboard wihout using it for nearly two weeks and I'vejust checked the battery status and it's still showing four lights, a full charge, incredible. Overall this is an excellent torch/spotlight and I would recommend to anyone who needs a very bright handheld light that stays charged and ready to use.

Perfect for everything

I have to say I love this item - though not in the physical sense. I mean I like it physically, as it is an object, but I have no emotional feelings towards it, except platonic love. It is very bright, especially when you turn it on, and works really well at night when it is dark and you need more light to see things. The beam is very good, and reaches all the way to the bottom of our garden. To put that into perspective, our garden is about twice as long as Matt's back garden and it easily illuminates Matt's path all the way to his shed, which is quite a long way as you can imagine. About half the length of our garden in fact, and I can see all the way to our pond, which is easily further than Matt's shed is from his back door. To be fair Matt does have a bigger front garden than us, but we didn't try it out there as he has a street light, so you can see anyway when you come up his path. It isn't pocket sized, unless you are Andre the Giant out of The Princess Bride, so you have to carry it about manually with your hands, but it doesn't weigh much, and it's a small price to pay for not stepping in dog poo on the lawn, which I used to do every evening. Actually that makes it sound like a hobby, which it obviously isn't, but you can't see the dog poo on the lawn so I would often tread in one when I go to get the bird feeders in at night. You have to bring them in or else the jackdaws all congregate at dawn and make a racket. I mean I bring the bird feeders in, not the dog poo which I usually throw over the fence into the next doors flower bed. It recharges by storing energy somewhere, via a USB like what you get with a computer, so I presume it stores energy in the cloud like my phone does. It has got four little blue lights at the back which don't really light anything up much and I don't know what they are there for but they look nice. There is also a red light on one side and a white flashing one on the other, so you can put them both on and pretend to be a policecar, but you have to make your own noises as this doesn't have a siren or anything. In all it is a lot better than those old torches you used to get, which you had to set fire to before rampaging through the village, or those little ones you see in museums which went on peoples mining helmets and had a canary in them. I would certainly buy one for Matt but he still owes me fifteen quid for that cab fare so I won't throw good money after bad. I could get one for Alison so that she can walk back from The Staunton, but I bet she'd forget and leave it in the pub. In summation I'd certainly buy more of these if I had more deserving friends. Oh yes, it was also delivered very promptly by a new delivery man, who doesn't speak a lot of English, but he seems nice, and looks a lot like James Franco.

Comparing the price to my numerous LED lensers etc they are 50% cheaper. Power / illumination wise they are 400% or more brighter. Battery life is amazing, charge it once a fortnight and use it every night, also battery degradation when not in use is negligible. Rarely use the work light or the flashing red beacon but great to have if it is to be kept in the car. (just bought 2 more for this purpose); Also the ability to charge a USB device from it is great: - now the dreaded gripes: Last one I bought the strap clip broke almost immediately not an issue that could not be fixed with a cable tie, Also the torch is used a lot in adverse winter conditions when wearing bulky clothing, and extra 2' of strap length would be advantageous! Would I recommend this torch - I would go further and suggest that it is a must have essential accessory for every motorist / country person. To be able to turn night into day from the bedroom window half a mile away to light up sheds when unwelcome visitors are about is "brilliant" forgive the pun! How would I improve it? Apart from the strap I would rally struggle to suggest any improvements - for me this is a really rare situation. In closing I would however suggest that you do not go out and buy one as I do not want them to run out of stock when I buy yet more!
