Great work table! Very sturdy, very versatile, compact (I have pretty limited space), very simple set-up and break down. The added clamps/accessories work seamlessly with this table and provide so many different and useful options. The adjustable height is a big feature for me. I’m a bit short. So it’s great to be able to work on things at my comfort level. I was skeptical with the price at first. I did some research and decided to give it a try. I’m really glad I did!

This is my third Pony portable folding work table. I have used the two I have with great regularity for at least a couple of years now. Most of my saws and power equipment are mounted on wheeled stands. I roll them outside for much of my work so I don’t need to worry too much about dust and dust control. The Pony tables are my outdoor work benches. I secure boards to them that I want to use my router on and sometimes use them to place longer boards on for quick crosscuts that are awkward for one person to manage on a table saw. I like that they come with clamps and a few bench dogs (you can never have too many clamps) that you can store on the table. Very useful! They are tough! I’ve used the first and second ones a LOT and they are still solid and strong. I only got another one to add to the lineup, not because the older ones are getting worn. And placed side by side on a concrete slab they make for a nice sized outdoor workbench that can be quickly put up and taken down. They are VERY easy and simple to set up and folded they take up very little room in the shop. The height is readily adjustable, also quick and simple to do while providing a 10 inch range from 25 inches to 35 inches. Just to add some numbers, you see in the pics that three of these folded up take up about 3.7 sq.ft. of floor space. They unfold together into just over 16 sq.ft., a nice sized work area. Once folded, they are well out of the way and out of my path through the shop. These Pony folding work tables are among my favorite items in the shop and get a great deal of use. The price has varied over time (imagine that) but for the quality of what you get, the price is a bargain! I heartily recommend these work tables!

I poured over reviews for weeks trying to decide which portable work table I wanted. I decided on the Pony table because it had adjustable legs a great design and came with 4 bench dogs and 4 clamps. (2 - 12" and 2 - 6" clamps) This table is offered with just 2- 12" clamps by some sellers and will maybe have a lower price. To add the 6" clamps later it will cost you $30.00, so if you want them get them in a package deal. They are really nice clamps and work perfectly with the table. I love his table. It is built like a tank and the clamps and bench dogs work great for holding just about anything you need. I can't imagine buying a table that isn't height-adjustable. With this adjustable table, you can sit or stand to use it. I am getting ready to do some work on my snow blower and I will cover the top with a piece of cardboard and put it on top of this table to work on it, instead of working on the floor on my hands and knees. I do woodworking also and have already used the clamping setup for a glue assembly. Excellent product and an excellent seller (GreatStar Tools). Amazon shipped this it and it arrived in perfect condition. The only complaint I have is I'm 76 years old and it is a little heavy, to carry around, but I will manage, it's a great table! EDIT UPDATE: I recently made a dolly with locking 2" wheels so I can wheel the table around the basement and not have to lift it. (see last photo) It is very handy to roll it over to the lumber rack when selecting wood for a project etc. Adding the wheels has increased its versatility. Still 5 stars a great table!

Like most of you, I do my homework when adding a critical piece of equipment to my work tools, and this is no different for a portable workbench. The reviews I read here and elsewhere consistently rated the Pony portable bench higher than the top competitors for performance and durability, but a hands-on YouTube video review by the “Kite Army” channel really sold me. Andrew gave an excellent tutorial on the table set-up and use with the various clamps and dogs for his projects. When I found the table discounted 20% during a recent Prime Days, I had no choice but to get it. Out of the box the table is already assembled and if you watched the Kite Army video you’ll already know how to raise the adjustable legs, open the unit and raise up and secure each half of the workbench surface if you’re not using it as a sawhorse. Just be sure to get the top supporting bars locked into the right location and you’ll have a level working surface. The set of four clamps and bench dogs are nicely package in separate boxes. My first project for the Pony workbench was the assembly of a small, knock-down IKEA wannabe chest of drawers for a friend with about four different types of screws. This was simple work for the Pony, but it made me appreciate the small pockets in the working surface for screws. I also loved the adjustable legs, which I typically use at the highest setting. I noticed in reviews of competitive tables a problem with cracking or chipping of the plastic, but the polymer used the Pony is not brittle in nature which should make it more impact resistant and durable in the long run. Time will tell. The two large clamps mount securely in the lower tool tray and can be folded with the table for storage and/or transport. It took a minute or two to figure out how to properly mount the clamps at first, but now I do it without much thought. I like this feature as I will frequently be taking this unit with me in the back of my SUV. In conclusion, for all the features, durability, quality clamps and price point, I can’t see buying any other table except this one. I purchased mine at a discount, but I wouldn’t hesitate to pay the full price if I couldn’t wait for the next sale. Good luck with your decision!

EXCELLENT. Looked everywhere and at all other brands. Finally decided on Pony table. More expensive than some others but WELL WORTH IT. Quickly became indispensable for redecorating apartment and never regretted investment. Vices are strong, easy to fix in table and very versatile (even ordered an extra set). Table is extremely solid and stable. Clamping is easy anywhere on its surface thanks to holes and honeycomb structure underneath.It folds away to a very compact size. Legs are sturdy and easy to extend retract. Do need to be careful though as fingers can easily get pinched when opening and closing the table (instructions also warn of this several timesz). Very satisfied and highly recommend.

Never had a workbench before this, I always just used a timber one I'd fired together from fenceboard, but finally but the bullet when I decided I needed a bit of portability. I looked at various reviews and vids of numerous benches and settled on this one, and I'm glad I did - and now I wonder how I ever did without one... This is light enough to carry and folds up well making it very portable, it easily goes in a small van or car, but is a good size when set up for use. The Jorgenson clamps it comes with are good quality too. The way they work with the table is very good, providing lateral and vertical clamping capability, and they're great off the table too particularly as you can join the pairs end to end to make one double length clamp. When set up the table is stable and easily solid enough to work on, and the variable height legs make it suitable for just about anyone. I'd definitely recommend this. Sure it's not the cheapest but you get what you pay for and this is a quality workbench that's well worth the money.
