These are good units. Easy to read and update quickly. They are a good size without being obtrusive and I believe are good value. They seem to be accurate both with temperature and humidity.

Good item with all I need on the front screen. Cool blue light is useful. Screen can be difficult to see at an angle or when battery gets low.

My purpose for this device is to simply know the rough temperature and, more importantly, humidity in my flat, especially during the cold winter months. I don't own a greenhouse, a terrarium, a vine cellar, or a similar thing requiring more "professional" reads. Reading the reviews on this hygrometer and many others, I noticed that they all have people complaining about bad readings. Since I couldn't find a single one with a reasonable number of reviews (say, 100+) without someone complaining about this, and because it's a fairly cheap device (16 GBP at the time of this writing), I decided to get 2 of them for the 2 rooms I'm most interested in, keep them together for a day, and compare. I'm guessing that the chances of 2 of them being equally faulty are very slim, given that most of the other reviews are very positive. In case that these two proved to be very inconsistent, I would've requested a replacement for both, without worrying which one is the faulty one. I would suggest anyone buying these to use this approach, unless you have another device (especially hygrometer) to compare with. The results of the experiment can be seen on the accompanied image: - quite consistent current humidity (only 1 percentage point); - some discrepancy in the lowest measured humidity (4 percentage points), which is to be expected of any such device; - fairly consistent current temperature (under 0.5C apart, and usually it's less); - 24h low/high shows a bit bigger difference (1C) in the lowest measured temperature. My conclusion is that both of the devices work fine, unless one needs super-precise measuring, in which case you need to go way above this price range. As for the other features: the setup is trivial (it consists of putting the supplied batteries in and, if Fahrenheits are your thing, clicking the icon on the screen), the backlight is quite pleasant, the screen is very visible, the magnets on the back seem to be quite stronger than a device like this needs,... All in all, the device does very nicely what it is advertised do. Not having checked the dimensions prior to buying, I expected considerably bigger devices (the impression I got from the obviously doctored product images) and I was pleasantly surprised when they arrived. In my opinion, the size is just right to make them very readable, yet quite elegant (although, I do admit that this is a matter of personal taste). These were delivered to me less than 2 days ago (2nd Nov 2018), so I cannot speak of their durability. However, if this review remains unedited, you can be sure that this didn't prove to be a problem since. To conclude: These are a good value for money, and I would recommend them to anyone with similar, non-professional needs.

Excellent product! Large display which is easy to read with LED back light displaying the temperature, and humidity level. There are 3 different zones to help you understand the current conditions, Dry, Comfortable and Wet. It offers you 2 modes to cycle between, the last 24 period and All time helping you pin point any recent change in the room. You can also switch between Fahrenheit and Celsius. Batteries included and last a long time in the device (over a year for me and when I switched out the supplied batteries for Duracell). Personal experience: I now have 6 of these (one for each room) and If you have ever had/have trouble with humidity or condensation these are a god send. Previously I was experiencing high humidity problems in the house I was renting, I lost brand new wooden furniture some rooms in the 3 bed house were uninhabitable, the Land lord was useless but like most people I couldn’t afford to move out at the time as I was saving for a deposit for a house of my own. The problem turned out to be insufficient ventilation, I did some research online and bought 2 of these to start off with and found that a few rooms were registering as wet. I purchased a couple of dehumidifiers, (1 upstairs and one downstairs) and the quality of air improved dramatically! No more lost furniture. The monitors let me know when the rooms were registering as wet which I would then switch on the dehumidifier rather than leave them running constantly. I don’t have this issue in my new house it gives me peace of mind knowing the humidity levels of the room you’re in are safe. Overall i can’t fault these little gadgets.

I love these. We had a very, very wet house, with water pouring down the windows in the winter. A friend persuaded me to buy one of these to help research the issues of the house. I was convinced it would be complicated and did not take it out of the packaging for over a year! One day I got brave & was astounded. So easy! Tells you everything you need to know the second you put the batteries in! Everything you need is just on the screen & very obvious. If you want more, the touch screen gives easy & instant extras. I can see what the humidity is and the temperature. Also what it was in the last 24 hours max & min. I can have centigrade or fahrenheit with one touch of the screen. It will even light up if I want it to for night viewing. I could not ask for more. I brought a dehumidifier (arete two, 20 L) which also worked really well and very easily. The house started to dry out at once & within 2 weeks it felt dry and no more water on the windows. I brought one of these little toys for each room! I have put them all in one room to test accuracy and they all agree which is reassuring. They also give the same reading as the dehumidifier. I am ridiculously happy! This is a very useful and very easy to use tool

J'ai depuis qq jours ces 2 thermomètres, je les ai laissés cote à cote : la variation de leurs mesures diffèrent de 0,2 degrés dans la majorité des cas. Parfait ! Beaucoup mieux que beaucoup qui ont une précision de 1 degrés, ici on est sur 0,1 degrés ! Idéal pour pour régler la température de mon intérieur, je vais en racheter 2 :-) Livrés rapidement, parfait.
