HEXBUG 406-4208-00GL04 VEX Robotics Hook Shot Ball Machine

Arrived quickly and sligthly cheaper on Amazon than Toys R Us. My 9 year old says "it's amazing"!. She forgot to check the contents which is important as the set was complete however 2 parts looked slightly different to the instruction booklet so you need to identify these before you start to avoid confusion later! Daughter says it's fascinating to watch. Booklet only shows how to make one matchine - as pictured. If you go online you can download 3 other instructions to make other machines using the same kit parts. It's great fun and now she wants the other kits!

My 13yr old has been happily constructing this for 2hrs. No problems with the instructions at all. It involves making a gear box which is good STEM skills. Lots of fun to be had with construction of the alternative designs on the internet. He is now trying to turn it into a weapon to annoy his sister with.

Great fun building with my 7 year olds. Some tricky points but children manage to build independently. Clear instructions and well worth price.

Really good. 13 year old son built it. Preferred it to the Knex roller coaster kit we also bought him!

Great fun to build hours of fun

Didn't work. I'm an experienced Lego and meccano builder. Though I followed the instructions to the letter I could not get this to work. Avoid

ブロック遊びや機械的なおもちゃが好きな息子のために購入しました。 細かいパーツがたくさん入っているので難しそうでしたが、説明書に絵が多様されているため丁寧でわかりやすく、英語に自身がなくてもつまづく点はありませんでした。６歳児と一緒に、３時間ほどで完成させることができました。 作りながらギヤの動きを学べるため、知育要素は高いんじゃないでしょうか。 完成品は、ハンドルを回してボールを飛ばすという単純な遊びなため、飽きるのが早かった。そこが一点マイナスです。

Mon petit-fils de 11 ans aime beaucoup cette marque de jeux de construction. Ça lui a pris 2-3 heures pour le monter et il s’amuse bien avec!

This was a Xmas present to our grandson who is 7. He completed it before the break was over and took it to school for 2nd grade show and tell. He loved it!

12 year old son requested for birthday, and it took him about 3 hours to build. He says it is fun. After playing for 10 minutes the rubber band broke and there are not enough rubber bands. Without it the toy will become useless.

The recommended ages on this is 8 and up I believe. There was no way am right year old could put this together themselves. Once together it is a great toy!
